Momentum Slash. It’s why when some said the Eagles game didn’t matter and then some even said this game makes no difference if they lose. I couldn’t disagree more. Momentum is huge. Limping in with self doubt,getting their ***** spanked is not the way to go into the playoffs. Joe Burrow and the Bengals will be going full bore on us. They can put up points. KC will have first seed to play for. We will see.

I agree in this game. It hurts. But I think we can beat the Chiefs. They have to play on the road and are as banged up,as we are. Maybe more so. Tomlin is very good at home on special games.

When I count them totally down and out Tomlin’s team has surprised me many times during the regular season. . I’m not throwing in the towel. There’s no doubt I am a bit more of a realist than you. Believe me…I want the Steelers to win just as much as any fan out there.

Maybe it’s better for me now I guess. I’ll still watch most of the time, my expectations are much lower tho. It’s clear that Steeler ownership now has other priorities than winning as long as the money comes in, so if they clearly don’t care about winning I’m not gonna get too bent out of shape over it either

For example, I won’t watch Wednesday, I have 2 non football fan base families to visit Christmas Day, I won’t prioritize that game over them. Shouldn’t be playing Christmas Day anyway. They beat the LAC without Bosa and Herbert

Either of those two will be a much tougher out next time around

They’re about to get cleaned up by the Chiefs

So yeah…lots of reasons to exude confidence

The chances of 5 game losing streak to end the year are greater than the chances of beating the Chiefs or a singular playoff victory (which ain’t anything to brag about anyways)

Agreed. Numerous reasons for this. The direction the NFL has gone. Rooney's allowing the league to sweep the Pat's***** cheating be swept under the rug. And the ground hog effect we have had here over the last 6 or 7 plus years.

You're fully conditioned to it. For me it's like watching the same scenario over and over again. Limp or fall into playoffs and get destroyed. Rinse&repeat.

So far it's setting up for the seasonal grand finale of failure right on cue.
