An elderly Jewish man attending a pro-Israel rallyin California has died after a "physical altercation" with a pro-Palestinian protester, the Ventura County Sheriff's Department announced on Monday evening.

Deputies responded to reports of a battery at a demonstration on Westlake and Thousand Oaks Boulevards after a verbal altercation broke out between 69-year-old Paul Kessler and an unnamed protester on Sunday afternoon, per a department press release.

"Witness accounts indicated that Kessler was involved in a physical altercation with [pro-Palestinian] counterprotesters," the release continued. "During the altercation, Kessler fell backwards and struck his head on the ground."

Yeah but you know how perception/propaganda goes and it doesn't matter what religion the West backs. If it's not Islam, and a majority could care less what religion is preached, we're the infidels. The Great Satan. Would be interesting to hear the take from our left leaning friends on the matter.

Not sure how Iran has not been annihilated by now. I mean it's only been 40+ years since they overran our embassy and took our people hostage for what, a year? They have also been the backers of terrorists ever since. I can only think that it's still a menace because we want it to be. Lots of $ in defending that part of the world and if there was real peace, who needs an overarching defense industry?

The US military conducted an airstrike on a weapons storage facility in eastern Syria used by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and affiliated groups, the Pentagon announced on Wednesday.

“This precision self-defense strike is a response to a series of attacks against U.S. personnel in Iraq and Syria by IRGC-Quds Force affiliates,” Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said in a statement. “The President has no higher priority than the safety of U.S. personnel, and he directed today’s action to make clear that the United States will defend itself, its personnel, and its interests.”

A U.S. MQ-9 Reaper drone was downed in international airspace near Yemen on Wednesday, according to a U.S. defense official.

"We can confirm that a U.S. military MQ-9 remotely-piloted aircraft was shot down off the coast of Yemen by Houthi forces," the official said.
