AMERICANS during the WW2, when all the other country’s were handing out death and destruction, we’re handing out Cigarettes and Chocolate Bars to those they liberated.

Americans are first to respond to most world disasters, natural or otherwise.

Our list as a nation is endless.

That's right. In the Stephen Ambrose book, "Citizen Soldiers," in the epilogue, a veteran makes the comment that a German, Russian or Japanese squad wherever they were in the world meant death and destruction. But the squad of American soldiers meant what you stated. We need to teach that stuff more.

There is a lot that has been stripped from the “AMERICAN” culture, that needs to be reinstated and taught to our youth.
