Was such a satisfying win having a three-beer celebration even on blood thinner.
Those are awesome. Was such a satisfying win having a three-beer celebration even on blood thinner.
You won’t hear it from the majority. But Tomlin, Austin and Flores absolutely befuddled Marcia’s line calls. There is absolutely no way……no way..the lastTD drive and the final drive with Claypool‘s 3rd down catches came from Canada’s loins. That was all sideline calls and Trubisky calls or making something happen.
Wouldnt be surprised if there is no improvement in the play calling that Canada is let go during the Bye week. So when when everyone is healthy and TJ is back, the slate is clean with Sullivan calling the plays on a modified route tree.
if anyone beats me to posting Pittsburg Dad this week you are banned
That’s pretty selective, as I’ve said numerous times that this team has the talent but lacks in coaching. In fact, I wrote a pretty long post about believing they could beat the Bills, wrong as I was. Whatever. They played a good game today. TODAY. The talent is there. Will today carry over? I don’t know. But I’m not sorry for being optimistic after watching them get *** ****** like $5 ****** four weeks in a row. And I never said we were becoming the Browns. I said we are getting a taste of how browns fans felt. We still are, really.Wow, what a turnaround from what you said just a few days ago:
"It's something completely different to watch your team at 1-4 and seemingly regressing and it looks like there is no end to it. We come here and discuss changes that could be made to improve this or that, knowing none of it is ever going to happen. And we will all sit down either at the game or in front of our TV's, hoping for something different and likely ending up disappointed. I never wanted to know how Browns fans felt, but we're getting a taste of it."
So I guess suddenly they're not regressing with no end in sight, and not becoming the Browns now?
Living on the wild side!!Was such a satisfying win having a three-beer celebration even on blood thinner.
You’re correct! There should be no controversy since it’s Kenny’s team now. There is no point in having a controversy at Q. Kenny was concussed today. He is a young player who shows promise. Mitch starts next week amd go from there.
What makes you think Flores had anything to do with today? For today, I’ll give props to Tomlin, but it does not make up for years of mediocrity. He would need to turn this team around and get us into the playoffs to change my mind about his ability.
I think Flores had a lot to do with today.
They called a great game today, but I think execution had more to do with it. Spillane BROKE UP A PASS! That by itself is shocking. Mitch covers up the ball after a bad snap then on the proceeding 3rd and 16(IIRC) he completes for a first down.Lots of big plays that had not been going our way did today. Props to everyone coaches and players all backed up to the wall. You won’t hear it from the majority. But Tomlin, Austin and Flores absolutely befuddled Marcia’s line calls. I swear I did the SAME THING taking my wife and son and daughter to that game feeling a win was certain. Remember the 15 yard punt??I took my family to Pittsburgh for a sure win vs. Mike Glennon led Bucs......we all agreed today was payback
You are grounded young man...you left off the "h" in Pittsburgh.if anyone beats me to posting Pittsburg Dad this week you are banned
No, it’s not Kenny’s team, he still has a lot to prove and his 3.7 ypa today didn’t help that.Big win! Now please, no QB controversy. This is Kenny’s team and he didn’t do anything to lose his job.
We’re going to have to agree to disagree here. No, it’s not Kenny’s team, he still has a lot to prove and his 3.7 ypa today didn’t help that.
I will actually give all the coaches props today. Not saying they were perfect but on a game that nobody expected the Steelers to win, they did. So for today they all get props. I am a lot more forgiving with wins or games that are competitive to the end.
Speaking of Cam do you or anyone else who might read this know what the deal was when with about 4 minutes left Bush knocked down the 2 point attempt and Cam was pointing at something behind him seemingly upset? Brady had has arm around his waist and it seemed like he was trying to talk him out of something? Just wondering what happened there. An amazing effort by the volunteers (not hostages) today. Papa Bear Cam was a force again and we needed it. OLBs played better. Just a great effort for a change.

So you have all the bases covered, then. OK. What was different about the coaching today? I saw better execution, myself. They put Mitch in the same bullshit third-and-long situations, but this time, he made the difficult passes for clutch first downs. That’s pretty selective, as I’ve said numerous times that this team has the talent but lacks in coaching. Don't those two things go hand-in-hand? Don't the Steelers need to play like the Browns for us to feel how Browns fans do?And I never said we were becoming the Browns. I said we are getting a taste of how browns fans felt. We still are, really.
WHY is it Kenny’s team, exactly? Because he was a first round pick? By that logic, it’s Devin Bush’s defense. Who knows what Pickett will accomplish in the NFL, but 8 quarters in, he hasn’t accomplished anywhere near what Trubisky has accomplished. Pickett hasn’t proven that five years from now he will be more than another journeyman backup. We’re going to have to agree to disagree here.
This most certainly is Kenny’s team and you don’t pull the plug on him because he got hurt.
They have to allow Kenny to throw down field in the middle, seam routes, deep patterns rather than this short of the sticks crap, jet sweeps, and overall pop gun offense.
Worst thing cool shades can do now is replace the young QB with a guy that’s no more than a journeyman and backup. He’s made more for this role coming off the bench but in no way did I see starter qualities in him when he was the starter.
Kenny no doubt sits out against Miami but you bring him back as the starter against the Eagles.
??????there is no way to give the dense enough credit after what they just did
with so many starters out they went out and made brady look mediocre
there may have been a few uncontested catches by the buc receivers but almost all had a defender in their face and they did not commit a lot of stupid penalties
Kenny was fine before he was knocked out, but Mitch really played well in his place
Where the hell has this Claypool been?
OL still stinks
Great ******* Team win and **** brady **** brady **** brady
