Hell of a Win

Speaking of Cam do you or anyone else who might read this know what the deal was when with about 4 minutes left Bush knocked down the 2 point attempt and Cam was pointing at something behind him seemingly upset? Brady had has arm around his waist and it seemed like he was trying to talk him out of something? Just wondering what happened there.

t*mmyb*y wanted Cam all to himself and Cam was pleading to NOT be left alone in a bedroom at night with t*mmyb*y.

Salute the nation

I think some players and coaches were playing this game like their jobs were at stake, which they should be.

WHY is it Kenny’s team, exactly? Because he was a first round pick? By that logic, it’s Devin Bush’s defense. Who knows what Pickett will accomplish in the NFL, but 8 quarters in, he hasn’t accomplished anywhere near what Trubisky has accomplished. Pickett hasn’t proven that five years from now he will be more than another journeyman backup.

Kenny is a much better QB than Trubisky.
He sees the field better, processes quicker, when allowed not afraid to to throw down field, better leadership and command of the offensive unit. better accuracy, not afraid to take off and run, and just better football instincts.
You do not pull Kenny out and bench him for a backup QB, a journeyman QB who most likely is not here next year,
Pickett is the present and most certainly the future and you have to allow him to progress and yes make his mistakes, buts that’s part of
the process. Trubisky is not your future and he’s not going to take you anywhere.
I’m fine if this team wins 5-6 games this year with Kenny as the starter if he learns and improves for next season.
Let him go through this process of learning this year and taking his lumps and FG he team willl be better off for it next year.
He’s also playing with a ****** OL, particularly at LG and LT, and no running game.
We can draft high enough we can fix those two positions next year.

Did you watch Trubisky when he was the starter? He ******* stunk!
He’s a backup at best and I’m fine with him in that role but not as my starter.
This offense did nothing withTrubisky as the starter. He was t moving the offense!
He’s got five seasons in the NFL to Kenny’s two games. He had his chances in Chicago and they moved on after realizing he’s not a starter.

I swear I did the SAME THING taking my wife and son and daughter to that game feeling a win was certain. Remember the 15 yard punt??
I just remember AB scoring about 30 yards away from our seats and thinking Thank God they escaped. And they proceeded to **** the bed on defense.

It's nobody's team. Trubisky starts next week because you do not want a Tua situation with your young prospect. His performance should dictate who starts after that.

Uh, Pickett most certainly was NOT a better QB than Trubisky today. The TEAM is the priority. Pickett can learn from watching Trubisky.

Statistically, Trubisky was never as bad as Pickett was today.

Again, Trubisky came in off the bench. He’s taken all the first team snaps this summer and the first four weeks of the season.
He looked good in the second half but the first 3-1:2 games he was terrible.
Kenny needs to grow into this offense. He’s been taking second team snaps up until two weeks ago. Only for the Bills and Bucs.
Of course he’s not going to be as familiar with these receivers as Trubisky is now so that’s why he needs the time to grow into it.
Kenny was moving the offense when he got hurt and LG Dotson missed his block got Kenny hit, and negated a long pass play to Johnson with a hold.
You take that hold away and he blocks his guy maybe we score a TD with Kenny.
You want to pull for Trubisky, have at it.

I ain't gonna lie. As a prognosticator I am humbled, but more than happy. That was my Super Bowl. I would dealy love the gif of Brady screaming at his oline. And will replay his presser at least three times. Of all the times I thought they would beat that vghker..... this was the least.

Brady was trying to lobby the refs for a defensive holding call on Bush (he didn't commit a foul, but ... Brady). Cam was using his big body to shield Brady from the refs so that they wouldn't be intimidated by the "G.O.A.T" (eye roll) lobbying for said call.

You’re really seeing what you want to see. The long completion to DJ was a wounded duck, up for grabs, fluke of a play. I’m just being objective. Trubisky’s play today was the best of any Steelers QB all season.

Right now Kenny is not much better than Mitch

he likely has a higher ceiling and should start once he is cleared to play again

but if Kenny continues to play like today and the coaches think Mitch can win some games, Mitch should play

I said Mitch played good when he came in for the injured Kenny. Not disputing that.
Trying to get across that Kenny has only started 2 games so far and you have to give him time.
Trubisky on the other hand has taken all the first team snaps up until two games ago, was the starter in Chicago for three to four years. So plenty of starts and experience for Mitch but only two games for Kenny,
You have to give him time to develop and get a rhythm going.
The pass to Johnson was a completion nevertheless. He had to come back for it but it was a completion .
Some of you want to play musical chairs with the QB. That’s dangerous with a rookie that you drafted number one to be your longtime starter. Trubisky is just a guy!
Kenny will be fine I’m just going shades doesn’t destroy this kids confidence by benching him for this slug. Not a good idea.

If Mitch plays great next week and we win, I don’t see a problem with starting him again against the Eagles. Doesn’t mean Kenny is not the future of the franchise at QB. I don’t think it will actually play out that way however…

I see what you’re saying Coolie but again, important to have patience with Kenny.
This OL especially the left side is very weak and needs an infusion of talent.
If we only win 5-6 games with Kenny I’m ok with it since we can draft some talent for that side of the line next year.
You know the first drive the play calling was aggressive then after that we started playing the pop gun offense again.
Still think this bad offensive play calling would hinder any QB.

no more important is winning games

yes the bad play calling is hindering the offense, yet many here give Kenny a pass for that but hold Mitch's feet to the fire over it

right now they are roughly the same guy...both are better when rolling out and are able to move the chains with their legs

as I said, I still go back to Kenny when he is able to go....but if he fails to improve and Mitch can give them a better shot at winning...you go with him
