In a van down by the river!
Short week means short turn around.

Let's hope we're focused. Two divisional wins would be huge to start the season.

HERE WE GO STEELERS! HERE WE GO!

I think we'll be more focused than the ravens. They had no chance to breathe after this Ray Rice incident.

No doubt.

Pearce looked terrible last week. Forsett looked decent but is he the real deal? Always a career back up but we'll see. I know he's been a hot commodity in the fantasy world.

I'd just like to see a game where we punch them right in the teeth.

Hear, hear Lloyd's Legend. I'd love to see us put them in the divisional hole. An 0-2 start overall and the division would be sweet.

Tonight is a huge game if we can win. An 0-2 hole for the Rat's and a 2-0 start for us would be huge for this teams morale and for putting the Rats in the basement. Still early in the season tough but would be a huge win if we could snag it on the road. I'd definitely take an ugly win in this one.

I'd take 10 or 11 ugly wins as opposed to 8 or 9 ugly losses. Hopefully, the Ravens have been distracted by the "issue" floating around their team rather than being more focused by it. I worry about Ike being targeted in the passing game and our defense making another journeyman and/or rookie RB look like an All-Pro. Also, if we can get out to a nice lead, does the Offense go into turtle mode again or have they learned their lesson about today's NFL and keep the peddle to the metal?

Totally agree, and another win might lighten up things on this board.

Ratbirds could use this a rallying cry though, teams have done it in the past for various reasons. Steelers have the better offense, but they also have a worse defense. They should win, but it'll be close and probably higher scoring than this matchup is used to seeing.

Well I hope Troy is looking for a no huddle offense this time.

I really think the Ravens will come out more focused and fired up. I just hope we match there intensity.

What a difference a year makes....no more damn knock knock jokes

Let's hope Captain Cliche has them prepared and can make adjustments in game as needed.

Here We Go Steelers.

I just hope that they've found a way to get Antonio brown free. The Browns did a great job of taking him away in the 2nd half and we never found a way to adjust to that - admittedly partly because of the turtle game plan in the 2nd half but it's shown people how to take away Ben's #1 guy.

It's going to be loud again tonight too. I hope it affects their use of the no huddle as much as it does ours. They 'blanked' us in the first half last year before we got on track but I don't see that happening this year at M&T.

A win tonight goes a long way for this teams confidence..............or would it go further for the fans confidence in this team ? Hostile environment, raucous fans (although im sure there will be at least 9-12K in the Blk & Gold tonight.

2-0 translates into a 68% chance of postseason qualification. But, one game at a time.

It's a crappy day here in Oklahoma City. Tomorrow is only supposed to be in the 50's. It is normally 90 this time of year. I NEED some Steelers football tonight! A win will make tomorrow feel much warmer. HERE WE GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!
