One place to post info about favorites for the draft in 2015. Just for some info Walter football has us drafting early and in their mock we pick in order corner back, OLB/DE and safety according to them for our first three rounds. Some of you guys may follow college sports and if so we can look at the picks you like on here. Might be some new dead horses to beat:rolleyes:.

It seems there are lots of teams picking offensive tackles ahead of us according to walter so it is unlikely we will be able to up grade either spot for next year. Also if we make the playoffs and do anything we should be picking fairly far down the talent list so we may have another ****** draft and not be able to up grade much because it seems the things the Steelers need the teams likely to be in front of us will be needing the same thing.

Lots of corners in rds 1-2, but we need a pass rusher. I take Vic Beasley if he is there in rd 1, ask him to add 15lbs.

1. Vic Beasley
2. Marcus Peters...bad kid, kinda, but prob the best cb in the draft
3.Anthony Harris, safety
4. Hauserman, TE, Ohio State. Very similar to Heath. Can at least replace Spaeth.
5. some OG or a rb

this thread will go over well.

brace yourself.

anyway... I'd like Vic Beasley and Byron Jones

Are we into mocking a mock season?

There's some good corners and safeties in college this year. Don't know which ones are going to be in the draft or not. We need a major upgrade at corner and safety. Hopefully we release Mitchell and find a better option there.

I know. I did a mock pretty early. I'm guessing we finish 9-7. Couple of good pass rushers, but Beasley would be a nice fit. Good cb depth too. I would love to get a cb or olb in free agency, but my guess is we won't. No way do I keep World's unless he wants to sign for 6 mil a year...then maybe.

I think my mock filled our needs nicely.

Clemson OLB's scare me.

I will take the following:

OTs - Peat, Scherff, Drango, Fisher, kid from ND
CBs - I'll take anyone with a heartbeat...j/k - O'lumu, Darby, Peters, Waynes
OLBs - Shane Ray, Gregory (wont' be there), Fowler, Golden

Who is makin the picks????

Salute the nation

At this point not making picks, just posting info about possible college players that someone would like the steelers to get in the off season. A slightly different topic to discuss than our defensive injuries and the effects or lack there of of our returning first round picks.
