We'll have none of that around here. You and others just need to chill the **** out and just wait and see how he progresses until at least the end of next season, minimum.

If Pickett was on top their board at 20 then Colbert should have retired years ago.Perhaps Kenny was their top value at need positions. You are doing a lot of assuming and trying to play it off as more than that.
Yeah we see how well Mitch and Rudy worked for the team. When your franchise retires you stock the position. You don't just make do.
Or perhaps you aren't the judge of talent you think you are.If Pickett was on top their board at 20 then Colbert should have retired years ago.
It’s called inductive reasoning. Go look it up. I am really surprised on how truly stupid you actually are.You keep pairing fact with likely and then think I'm the one who requires a definition of terms. The two ideas don't speak to one another, it doesn't matter when other QBs went, Pickett is not them and you don't know where Pickett was valued by other organizations. Keep it up Coach Lite
It's amazing how everyone who disagrees with you and shows flaws in your logic you always accuse of being dumb. That should tell you, maybe it isn't everyone else that's dumbIt’s called inductive reasoning. Go look it up. I am really surprised on how truly stupid you actually are.
I agree that the accolades for Pickett was supposed to be high floor and the most ready being a 5 year player for Pitt. But he wasn’t a consensus top QB. In 2020 you won’t find a single draft expert saying Burrow wasn’t the top QB. In 2021 you won’t find one saying Trevor Lawrence wasn’t the top guy. In 2022 there wasn’t a consensus. Pickett, Willis, Corral, Ridder and Howell.I think there was consensus that Pickett was the safest and most pro ready QB. Other QBs may have higher potential, but were more risky. Mac Jones is like Pickett in my opinion, and he has been up and down. Lawrence was pegged as a cant miss generational talent and has not lived up to that yet. Wilson seems to have a maturity issue and has been replaced by White. Lance was a head scratching pick IMO and hasnt been on the field enough to judge. Fields has been looking better lately, but still too early to judge any of these guys.
We have no clue where Pickett would have ended up if we passed on him. I remember we were all dreading Willis being there when we picked and taking him and we ended up being able to choose whoever. It was not a reach for Pickett and no way w/o a time machine to say he would have been there when we picked again.
So far I’m doing better than Colbert.Or perhaps you aren't the judge of talent you think you are.![]()
That is highly debatable and sort of cooch type of thinking. So far I’m doing better than Colbert.![]()
I have yet to hear a single factual argument. Same mouth breathers regurgitating an opinion that steelers can do no wrong. It's amazing how everyone who disagrees with you and shows flaws in your logic you always accuse of being dumb. I have 20 years of comparison. I’m not vastly better but I also don’t have access to the scouting reports, film, and medical reports he does. And I do it as a hobby not a living. That is highly debatable.
You aren't a little bit better. Let's be honest here.I have 20 years of comparison. I’m not vastly better but I also don’t have access to the scouting reports, film, and medical reports he does. And I do it as a hobby not a living.
Actually you have heard plenty of factual and reality based arguments, you've just refused to accept it, because as usual your own view is paramount and is never wrong. Do you jar your own farts to sniff later or do you bend over to sniff your farts fresh out of the oven?I have yet to hear a single factual argument. Same mouth breathers regurgitating an opinion that steelers can do no wrong.
Well, I wouldn’t have drafted Pickett so I’m at least up on him there. You aren't a little bit better. Let's be honest here.
You may regret that opinion some day.Well, I wouldn’t have drafted Pickett so I’m at least up on him there.
it's a real fact you will never know if any team would have moved up for Pickett if the Steelers passed on him, so stop it now please. A guy as knowledgeable as you shouldn't be so stubborn, just cut your loses and move onI have yet to hear a single factual argument. Same mouth breathers regurgitating an opinion that steelers can do no wrong.
Hopefully I will. You may regret that opinion some day.
Yes, I don’t. But I do know no one drafted another QB for 54 picks after Pickett was drafted. So you don’t know he would have and LIKELY as no one drafted a QB until round 3 Pickett wouldn’t have been drafted anytime soon after 20.it's a real fact you will never know if any team would have moved up for Pickett if the Steelers passed on him, so stop it now please. A guy as knowledgeable as you shouldn't be so stubborn, just cut your loses and move on
Colbert claimed the Steelers had Mason Rudolph evaluated as first-round talent. Maybe that's when he should've retired. If Pickett was on top their board at 20 then Colbert should have retired years ago.
I agree. I didn’t have Rudolph rated as a first round pick.Colbert claimed the Steelers had Mason Rudolph evaluated as first-round talent. Maybe that's when he should've retired.
