The argument that we could be worse than now is a fallacy. What does it matter if we change coaches and turn in a few 5-12 seasons or whatever if we get REAL change in the process. Maybe we get a coach who hires actual competent people. Maybe we get a coach that is offensive minded as that is where the league is and has been for the past decade. Maybe we get a coach who doesn't let his ego dictate a lot of what he does. Maybe we are building toward something instead of being mired in what we know is the proverbial hamster on the wheel.

Those are all maybes...but we know what we have now is a for sure.

And that is for sure we are never winning anything that matters if things continue the way they are.

Although it certainly feels like it's been this bad, 126-7 didn't sound right to me. After fact-checking, it isn't.

That's 126-38.

I removed that post(If you are referencing my comment) because it's inaccurate I think. I was reading other stuff and I saw 63-0 in the first Q. last 5 games.

I don't know what numbers are correct now, but I know it's bad. Sorry about that.

A week after Tomlin said “If you can’t pick up a yard you deserve to lose”. I hope someone in the media pointed that out to him. That was Tomlin accepting defeat and giving up.

No, just wanted to correct the guy who posted that. 63-0 in the first quarter over the last five games is right on, and even more telling, in regards to the lack of preparedness from the coaching staff.

True, sort of. He gets some right, and they tend to get posted a lot. But, yeah, he is a shock jock. They guy asked if anyone in the media is saying anything, so I responded.
 
Bill Cowher ran a top 10 defense all 3 years as defensive coordinator in KC. He took over a team that was 17th offensively and 22nd defensively.

Tomlin took over a team that was top 10 on both sides of the ball.

Just sayin.

I got that stat from the news on tv and took a picture of it.
The headline just said slow playoff starts.
The scores where from the second quarter.
Slow starts is the point and we suck at them.
 
Game analyst Kirk Herbstreit was even more critical after the Steelers fell behind 21-0.

“I don’t see any fight, any pushback,” Herbstreit said. “Where the hell is the fight? This is the Pittsburgh Steelers. There’s nothing. They’re just going through the motions.”

Ouch....it doesn't get any more damning than that.
