Ice Bowl 2.0: DAL/GB

Wow. Let's see if all the Cowboy fans who said "calls don't change momentum" last week feel the same way now. Wow.

I hate the cowboys but i hate these rules too.

They got hosed. Sorry people that hate Dallas.

They didn't get hosed. That was a textbook "no catch" per the current rules. As I said in my previous post, AB lost a ball last year after he caught it, hit the ground and rolled over. That was more BS than this no catch. Good call by the refs if you want to be consistent.

I thought the "going down to the ground rule" only pertained to when the play was in the end zone. Looks like a catch to me, as he had possession and was down. Ground cant cause a fumble
Thought the same too, can someone explain?

Rookie stays in bounds.....nice......

Consistency or no consistency, it doesn't pass the eye test. He had control of the ball stumbled forward 2 more steps THEN went to the ground. He should be considered a runner at that point. BS interpretation of the rule.

That rule is designed for guys diving and hitting the ground as they catch the ball. That's not what happened there.

The NFL really needs to overhaul its rules when it comes to a reception. Two feet down with possession and it's a reception. Simple and clear cut with absolutely nothing to interpret.

Haha i wanna see a shot of governor christie, where he at??

There's the game. It was a good game. Better than I expected.

Seattle is going to murder Green Bay. Remember how Jim Harbaugh looked after the Steelers annihated Indy in the '96 wildcard round? That's gonna be Rodgers

The NFL is bullshit and so are these so called rules. That was pathetic. If that was a Steeler game i'd be done watching for good. I think these playoffs suck ***.

I think the problem is in the interpretation of possession

Which goes to the rule. You should not need to interpret anything. Steratore is arguably the best ref in the game and he made the call. Mike Pereira agreed that it was an incomplete pass. Rule problem.

Always does my heart good to see Romo's sad face after a whole year of nut-hugging.
