Biden is a combination of frail, confused, with a touch of anger. If by chance he did win the Presidency, it would not be a laughing matter.

Biden can't even get through a quick 5-minute segment in a room made for him with a teleprompter telling him what to say. The guy has stage 2 or 3 Dementia already

Which leads me to my point. Who's going to be pulling strings for him when he has to speak and make decisions?, If he should have to resign or be declared unfit to serve in office, who the heck is his Vice President going to be?

I don't think he will win but to me the only VP choice he could make that would give any piece of mind at all at least on a personality basis would be Tulsi Gabbard. That is also the only choice I can see that would help him have any chance at all.

More me too stories will come out of the woodwork.

I don't think Dems are gonna let him be the candidate. They know Trump will chew him up and spit him out. They will find a way out of it. It will be a health crisis of some sort (real or exaggerated.)

I think they only propped up Biden to once again keep Bernie out. I think they will nominate Biden at the convention at which point he will withdraw citing health reasons and endorse either Hildebeast or Gov. Koomo. Meantime the Bernie Bros will lose their minds. They CAN NOT let Biden debate President Trump. I know it, you know it, the Dem Party leadership knows it, everybody knows it except the Kool-Aid drinkers who watch The View, CNN, and MSNBC. It's no accident that a new Hildebeast bio pic is showing up on my Hulu menu. Bud of mine is more deeply involved in GOP politics than I am but I bet him $10 that Biden will not be on the ballot in November and he took it.

Biden wont be the candidate...Cuomo will.

"While appearing on the Charlie LeDuff podcast, Carlson claimed that Biden insiders told him they don't believe the former vice president has the mental fortitude to last until the 2020 election in November, speculating that the Democratic Party may revoke his potential nomination.

"I sincerely and totally believe that Joe Biden will not be the Democratic nominee on Election Day," Carlson began.

"How does that math work?" another podcast host pressed. "It's not about math. It's about will," Carlson said, saying the Democratic Party is "intent on taking power."

"Two competing imperatives: We've got to win, but we've got a guy who can't win. Therefore, they're going to replace him," Carlson continued. "He's not going to make it, and the people around him know that. Trust me, I know them. And I know they know it, because they've said it to me." Carlson went on to estimate that New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is "most likely" to replace Biden for the Democratic nomination" https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...-insiders-say-he-wont-make-it-to-election-day

I basically agree but I see a couple problems with this.
1. The Bernie Bros will absolutely lose their **** that their guy came in second and still doesn't get the nomination. There will be riots at the convention.
2. Dem voters in general will lose faith in the party especially after me and other GOP operatives remind them of the "selected not elected" mantra on social media since their candidate will be someone who was not in the debates or even on a primary ballot.
3. Gov. Koomo might be their best candidate (besides Bernie) but he might be a little tied up leading his state through the Bat Soup Virus and quitting in the middle of the stream to run for President would be a bad look.
4. The Dem party will split in two after the election. The Bernie/AOC wing will break off and become the Democrat Socialists believing they lost because the party wasn't Leftist enough and the regular Democrats will be glad to see them go, believing they lost because the party was too far Left.

There is no way Biden turns it down. He can't just bow out after the process is over. The dems will look like a bunch of morons (even more than they already do). He has to stay and they have to support him. They have no other options at this point.

Biden represents the dems well.
Creepy, forgetful and likes to sniff hair.

I get that but if they keep Biden they will probably have to refuse to participate in debates and openly have the VP candidate (likely Sen. Harris or Sen. Warren) do most of the campaigning with the full knowledge that this is who you're really voting for. Which is still an embarrassment.

I really hope it's Biden. I am so looking forward to Trump/Biden debates.

Or as Sleepy Joe would call them, "The Biden/Nixon...., er, Biden/Regan....., ah, you know the thing!"

Cooch once again being Captain Obvious. Well it's my fault for clicking on a thread he started I guess.

There no way he wins. Outbreak will cause an emergency extension to Trump. (Can you see the tears)....then he will go onto win his tru 2nd term.

He 100% is going to pick either Warren or Harris as VP... Harris courts the black and women voters and Warren courts the berniebots... he probably takes Warren... if the ultra progressives ditch him he hasn’t got a chance

Thats the way i see it too... the dems split, that causes shifts in the political landscape, and over time we end up with a really far left progressive party, a moderate left party, a conservative moderate party, and a far right party...

I still think Harris will be the VP although I would hope for Gabbard. I dont think Biden's ego will let him pick Warren (if he can remember who he is that day). I still think the election is up for grabs. Trump is kinda stumbling around the corona virus thing. If it doesnt clear up soon the dems will have a field day with all his mis-quotes. Trump could always pull out the Biden rape card or pedo card which should sink biden

All the crazy leftists HATE Tulsi Gabbert because she is not nearly radical enough.....and she actually makes sense part of the time. They would burn Biden at the stake if he dared have her run with him.

Biden was already the most moderate of the Dems, to the consternation of the radicals. He will need a far Lefty for VP like Harris or Warren.

Yeah, well, Bill Clinton got reelected in 1996.

The fallout from the Paula Jones case, including Juanita Broaddrick's allegation and the Lewinsky issue, did not come to light until after the election, in 1997 and 1998. For example, Slick Willie did not give deposition testimony until January of 1998.

Yes but by then it was well-known that he regularly cheated on his wife.
