If you got to choose who would you pick to coach the Steelers

An empty suit is a huge upgrade
Last year’s playoff loss to Cleveland agrees with you. They beat Tomlin without even bringing their head coach!

If there was any way we could figure out how to bring Haely back as an OC, I would jump at it.

He may be an *******, but he can run an offense.

His ability would directly be affected by how much Coach Tomlin put his hand on the product.

Currently either O'h Canada or Coach Tomlin or both aren't doing worth a ****.

Whatever they do moving forward, they have to decide on some things. They have to decide what they are going to be and do that well. They drafted a top young RB, so common sense would think they would try to be a physical, running team. Stop this multi-dimensional **** and just do something well.

If I was Rooney, whether I keep Tomlin or hire someone else, that message would get sent loud, clear and often.

Here’s another one. Doug Pederson. He got to involved with personnel decisions in Philly. I think if you just have him coach and let him put his 2 cents in with the player decisions he could recapture what he had early on with the Eagles.

I agree diver but if there is no consequences there is no message. All we heard was we will focus on being able to run the ball and yet, I'd hardly doubt anyone thinks of the STEELERS as a run threat. 14 games in and not a chance of being a run dominated team, where O'h where ART 2 thou ?

Cant believe I’m saying this but Kyle shanahan 49ers… I’ve been in the bay area back and forth last few years and i like the way the whole team plays… with a lot of pop.. they tackle, block, run n pass… we have better players that the 9ers but the 9ers coaches just do better job putting the players in position to make plays… we draft a RB #1 they get a guy way down in the draft guess which guy is doing better? love to see Harris in that offense though Harris could best flanker in nfl in right offense, use him like GB uses adams AND run him out of backfield! their big mistake was in trading Buckner it was like us trading Iron Head 2, the blood and guts of the team… but I think the 9ers are going to be that team no one wants to play come playoff time.
I actually like this idea- he would need to leave San Fran though. It would never happen

Brains are never worth disfunction. He never made it past the first 1/4 of a season in Cleveland. But I agree he is the last competant xo person they've had as a coordinator.

I don't know why anybody would be against Bieniemy after today.

I don't care who the coach is, as long as he's a black guy.
what ever happened to hiring the guy who's the best fit for the job? Now we only hire by the color of their skin and not the content of their character? Oh the irony!

I can't help but think that Eric Bienemy most be a real ******* or appear incompetent in interviews. How many years has he been on the line as the next best prospect for a head coaching job? Strange they he hasn't gotten any of those jobs that he interviewed for.

I would take just about any ******* body other than that Snake Oil salesman that they've got now.

But... If I'm picking, I'm going with Luke Fickell, Mike Munchack, Byron Leftwich or the defensive coordinator of Indy. My apologies for not knowing dudes name, but it looks like they have about 12 guys on defense in the Colts games that I've seen over the last few years

This team isn't winning **** with Tomlin leading it

Remember in his half-season in Cleveland he doubled the Browns offensive output from the year before.
Hell, I'd hire the Lovely Mrs. Haley's Husband as head coach. Saw a study once that the best head coaches were guys who were fired as head coaches, went back to being coordinators, then became a head coach a second time. It would also put smiles on the faces of the bag boys at the Mt. Lebanon Giant Eagle.

Bienemy is in a tough situation with Andy Reid as HC and Mahomes at QB. Reid is a known offensive genius and Mahomes can make a lot of OCs look good.

I just assume Bienemy doesn't get a head job (heh, heh) because it's Andy Reid's offense.

While that's true, it looks like Bieniemy has Mahomes taking what the defense gives him instead of doing all the heroics, and they were balanced today and killing TOP.

Granted, the Steelers were awful, but they looked like they could do anything on offense and without Kelce.
