Initial Thoughts on raven Game

I truly hope you are wrong about that but that knee looked bad and his quickness is key to his success

just terrible ******* luck having his teammate dive as he was falling and crushing his knee that way
As do I. If he went to hospital was Id imagine dislocated and will come down to ligament damage. Was a Nick Chubb, Sean Spence looking injury.

He made a hell of a play at back of endzone and friendly fire looked like it dislocated his knee and probably shredded it. He went to hospital which is pretty rare.
Ohhh. Ouch. That sucks. Liked the kid even if he came from Houston.

Ball literally didn’t bounce our way. Russ fumble by the goal line. Russ pick six. Couldn’t contain Henry.
Bad playcalling again. Bad coaching decisions again.
Too many secondary injuries on defense.
Shortage of quality receivers.
TJ went missing today.
This could end badly this season. Another collapse maybe on the horizon.

That I disagree with. I don't think many are season enders. They can get their guys back but gotta get the 5th and play in Houston.
Once again, I would love to be wrong here. Honestly.

Turnovers were the difference on offense.

The defense's inability to stop the run was the difference on defense.

Being real, it'll be a long shot to win the division now. Also, it'll probably lead to a trip to Houston which is probably the best possible matchup for the Steelers in the playoffs unless somehow they could play Denver at home if we win the AFCN.
To stop anything....

Yep.... honestly, it ******* sucks we are on at 1 on Christmas and the Rats are on at 4:30... if tge rats lost before we played, we coukd rest everyone and just worry about beating cinci
A smart coach would’ve used the very unimportant damn near meaningless as an NFL game can be Eagles game as the bye week it could have been in preparation for the most important game of his season vs the Rats

It would be nice to have a smart coach someday

Right now, the Eagles and the Ravens are just better. The Steelers are getting hurt while both those teams seem to be getting healthy. Not having Pickens is huge. But Brady pointed out something. They have 2 rookies starting on the OL who by this time are probably just hanging on. They are hanging tough, but still. They just seem like a team that is a year away with a good FA period and draft. Idk...they played hard.

He also had two defenders in his face…a common theme behind this sieve of an OL
Russ has been getting happy feet. Times the pocket is there and he bails early . You know. The same thing people railed on Fields about. I guess when you don't get consistent protection it might affect your play.

TJ rushed back to be available for his teammates

His drive is admirable but he obviously wasn’t right if you watched his footwork and leverage he applied.

He was a shell of himself but gave it a go cuz the team went in battered and needed him.

If they were smart they’d shelf him
vs Chiefs to try to get him right if at all possible

hmmmm rye is gone

still remember this ****

guess I'll work on the Balcones Brimstone...going to be fun tomorrow

To be fair it's a run oriented offense with multiple tightends predicated on the one being a matchup nightmare if you go one on one. He's out from practice. They are a year off and I'd rather have a first round the Auiyuk anyhow.
It should have been oriented that way till we got Russ then that whole strategy should have changed. Aiyuk was never coming here or anywhere else, he was just playing the 9ers for more cash. But we could have had Davante Adams..they could have had Tyler Boyd early as well when they had already signed Russ. Instead they went cheap and went to the scrap heap.

It's like the Steelers purposely design their teams just good enough to be competitive, and not really good enough to make a deep run or win it all. Knowing what you have on defense, knowing you now have a legit QB.... WHY would you not give him what he needs to possibly win it all? Why while you have this defense would you operate like this?

Mortgaging the future means squat if you can build a championship team now. If you don't gamble with the future it's just more of the same ol same ol in the future: Never a losing season and possibly one and done in the postseason.

If they're not careful the casual fans might start to catch on.

if you replace the "x" with twitter the post will show here

I posted this same shot in the texan game thread

one hell of a catch
It had been doing that automatically for awhile, I didn't notice it switched back. Thanks!
