Nazi Germany had a decent Olympic team too. Obviously I'm not in any way trying to compare our government to Nazi Germany or even taking a shot at our government per se, just trying to illustrate how little Olympic success has to do with the government of the country in question.

There have been some great Ethiopian runners too, but I seriously doubt people will suddenly think Ethiopia is a paradise based on their Olympic successes.

Case in point: Christian bakers must bake a cake for a gay wedding even though that goes against their deeply held religious beliefs. However Jewish tailor shop can refuse to sew swastikas and Waffenampts onto ANP uniforms because it violates their deeply held beliefs and the left is cool with it. Conservatives are fine with either shop in either scenario refusing to do business with people who they find odious. The reason for this is because conservatives recognize the natural rights of individuals to free association.

I understand that conservatives would be fine with either. After all they were fine with businesses refusing to serve black people too. If you think we're going back to that you're dreaming. No that's a long way before my time. And I grew up in the next county over from Greensboro. You know the thing about stuff like those signs? It only costs those people potential customers, they aren't hurting anyone save themselves. My question would be why would you seek to force a person that hates to take money from you?
