Federal Agents Just Paid a Visit to Kathy Griffin — And Grilled Her for Over an Hour

When Kathy Griffin posed for a photoshoot holding a fake decapitated, bloody head of President Donald Trump in June, she likely didn’t think about the wide-reaching implications of her so-called “joke.”

While her controversial stunt resulted in some serious professional consequences, it also earned her a lengthy visit from the U.S. Secret Service.

Secret Service agents reportedly tracked down Griffin and interviewed her in person for more than an hour. Further, the investigation into the bloody head debacle remains open.

Griffin’s attorney, Dmitry Gorin, has claimed the comedian was merely exercising her “First Amendment rights to tell a joke.”

“When you look at everything in the media, all the times entertainers make videos or express themselves in other ways, you’ve never seen an entertainer, let alone a comedian, be subject to a criminal investigation,” the attorney added.

Even though the investigation is ongoing, it’s unlikely that Griffin will actually be arrested over the crude photo.

Hollywood, however, must portray a much more blended society than actually exists. In fact, one can't actually produce a show now without an equal representation of gays and minorities for fearing backlash. Forget that it's not at all representative of actual America where these victim classes (because that's what Liberals have turned them into - not people but victims) represent 16%, 12% and 4% of the population.

I'm watching the Netflix original - 13 Reasons. My son watched it. So I wanted to watch it. I'd heard about how it glorifies suicide, etc. I actually find it very good. Though far fetched, one can see how "bullying" isn't always outright bullying as we would think of it. How a series of small events and large events can intermingle to create a sense of desperation for the victim.

What I did find fascinating that I opposed in the show were the unrealistic character breakdowns - a cast of characters that 13 Reasons "depicts" as representative of every day America...::cough cough::

In the show, there is an openly gay male Hispanic student and his boyfriend (also non-white). There's a gay Asian girl and her two gay male parents (both dad). They insisted on showing a lesbian interaction between the straight girl star and the gay Asian girl. It was a point to show the gay parents of the Asian girl. And to show the jealousy of the gay male boyfriend of Tony, the gay Hispanic guy, that ultimately had nothing at all to do with the plot whatsoever - they just had to show it because, well, gay's gotta be the new normal. Even though 96% of America is straight.

Yes, the pendulum has swung. While Mayberry RFD was all white and not representative of society then, we've gone in the opposite direction where TV and Movies now depict a world where every other person is either a minority, gay, or both (as in 13 Reasons). Neither are representative of the real world.

That said, I remember watching Sanford and Son and The Jeffersons as a kid.

I haven't watched the show but the whole premise is very dangerous for kids. Many kids who committ suicide are doing so to somehow get "revenge" on somebody they think wronged them and this series pretty much makes that reasoning heroic.

I don't give a **** what kind of supposed warning they put on it. This show should be Parental Locked by default.

They claim they wanted to make it realistic to somehow help kids struggling with suicidal thoughts. Bullshit. If they wanted to make it realistic and a deterrant, they would have showed all so called 13 reasons people not giving a **** when they heard the news while her loved ones are devastated.

I hope Netflix gets sued for billions.

13 Reasons Why was AWFUL. I read the book as part of a book study program through the school district I work for. It was so far-fetched to me- like who is REALLY going to watch a girl get raped and not say ANYTHING? WTF? And by watch, I mean hide in the closet in the room in which it's occurring and just sit there. So stupid.
