Kenny Pickett Is Our QB. Deal With It, Whiners.

Hey everybody. Ballz Deep here .. Before anyone asks, yes, the nickname is related to extra curricular activities that are unrelated to throwing a football.

If 2022 means anything to the franchise and its fans, we're going to need to aggressively go after KP next week. For all the Malik hopefuls, we'll see how that works out. I don't know about you all, but the thought of Kordell Stewart 2.0 at the helm in 2022 doesn't excite me. Give me a QB with arm strength and accuracy any day.

And while I do see Mitch as an upgrade to Macy Rudolph, I don't recall any instance in history where a Bears reject ever turned into a Steelers franchise all-pro. Btw, let's not forget that Glitch wanted to play with the Giants. That speaks to his decision making ability if you ask me.

It's rare that a franchise can lose a longstanding, HOF QB and remain successful. Hell, even Belichick and Sean Payton couldn't do it. And I'm sure most of us would agree that Tomlin isn't exactly on equal turf with those two legends.

Lastly, why the frig didn't we sign the Honey Badger and resign Haden?? Instead we'll continue collecting rejects off waivers, I'm sure.

Without Pickett in 2022 prediction: 5-11-1
With Pickett in 2022 prediction: 10-7
This schtick smells very familiar...

So my wife and I both got a turkey from our work for Easter. I deep fried mine last week. Awesome.
Today I am baking the other with lemon butter salt pepper smoked paprika and garlic. Smells amazing. 30 more minutes! Letting it rest

deep fried is the best....

In many cases I might agree, but unfortunately our "seasoned starter" is a guy that was canned from the Bears, was given up quickly by the Bills, and someone who wanted to play for the Giants. So yes, I do believe that KP alone could be the difference in our ability to win an additional 5 games.
Given up quickly by the Bills? He was the backup to Josh Allen for chrissake, not part of a pitching rotation. Trubisky likely would have turned down more money from the Bills for an opportunity to start for the Steelers.

The bears franchise is horribly run, might as well call them the Browns. They move on from coaches and QBs like changing underwear. I'm not exactly going to trust any decision they make.

The bills didn't quickly give him up, they knew they wouldn't be able to afford him as a back up. Everything to come out of Buffalo about mitch has been positive.

Lots of NFL players want the giants, it's a marquee location for things other than football.

Of all the QBs in the draft, I do think Pickett is the top guy, but not giving us 5 extra wins. He would still have to win the job.

Can you name another Bears starting QB that they parted ways with that went on to find great success elsewhere?

Someone in the past 2 decades would be ideal and a supporting citation would be appreciated. Thanks.

Very nice. I've heard a lot of low paying service industry jobs are doing this for their employees these days. Good on them.
I mean this in the nicest way possible, f**k you Bob. And don't half-step on that heaping bowl full of merry- go- f**k yourself.

Ballz Creep,
Mitch should never have been picked 2nd overall. if he had been picked later to a team that had a better chance at being good his story might be different. now he is in a setting where he has a great defense, a good to great running game, and a coach that has stability. this could be a good thing

I see. So, maybe if "this" happened then "that" may have happened too. Is that correct? Couldn't the same be said about any QB castoff throughout time?

And just out of curiosity, how do you define a coach "that has stability"? One that doesn't get fired regardless of how deserving he is?

Please advise.
