Kenny Pickett Is Our QB. Deal With It, Whiners.

Cookie, are you able to actually refute anything that I said, or are the one liners where you fail to capitalize and punctuate properly basically your ceiling?

what exactly did you say that needs to be refuted? that you don't understand how Mitch is considered to be a veteran QB? That you resort to lame names for players, coaches and other posters since you can not form a legitimate argument to support your viewpoint? Even your initial post provides no analysis, just your lame assertion.

you're just another troll

Cookie? You want to munch on Coolie? You sick *******.

Before anyone asks, yes, the nickname is related to extra curricular activities that are unrelated to throwing a football.

That speaks to his decision making ability if you ask me.

You actually named yourself Ballz Deep and are questioning someone else's decision making?

Mitch Trubisky is going to be fine. If they open the offense, and the running game gets going early, I think Mitch is going to surprise people. He wasn't awful in Chicago. That whole team was bad. Mitch just got the blame for it.

He is never going to put up numbers like Rodgers or Mahomes. Not many do. But he's good enough to win some games for the Steelers. I guess we will see what offense Canada trots out this year. If it's the same **** as last year, it really won't matter who the Steelers QB is.

Exactly. He was the second overall pick so he got the blame, but a 64% completion rate with 64 TDs to 38 INTs for a passer rating of 87.0 for his career surrounded by sh!t isn't bad.

And the guy ran a 4.6 40 time so he's the perfect guy for the offense if what you said in your second paragraph happens.

Yeah. That's just what we need. A QB who is hopefully "good enough to win some games" if our OC (who was proven to be pure sh*t last year) isn't quite as pure sh*t this year.

That hope should suffice in a division where we play Burrows, Watson and Lamar, for a combined total of 6 games per year. And lucky for us, the other 11 games will be teams lead by Brady, Rodgers, Mahomes, Allen, Wilson, etc., etc., etc. So yeah, hoping that our below average coaching staff has a complete lobotomy this off-season so they can mold average players into "good enough" sounds like a reasonable expectation.

so the coaching staff is that bad but a rookie is going to come in and turn the season around.....bullshit

I always get a kick out of the idea that if we try to find the positive about the Steelers we are sheep. It makes no sense. Explain it to me.

One big difference is that he is OUR troll, someone that will represent all trolls in a ....................... well ....... lame brain fashion.!

I'm not sure he would make top ten troll here as we have seen many come and many go but only few left lasting impressions.

Let's just see what happens Bob. We've got Trubisky like it or not - we fix the remaining spots and go from there. If Trubisky sucks we have next year's QB class. Personally, I think Trubisky wants badly to play for the Steelers. I've said in other posts that drive in a person matters a lot. And not just in football.

I also think it was good he spent that time in Buffalo essentially on the bench. He's got something to prove. Will be interesting for sure.

Yeah, that too...and, probably learned a few things from Allen. As far as I know, they got along really good, and Allen probably shared a lot of experience from the field to Trubisky. I'm not ready to throw the towel on the upcoming season.

No way. Najee was just quoted yesterday I think as saying that Mitch is so cool because he's open to anything (and no Ballz Deep, it's just football related).

So... I have a Turkey casserole in the oven. Left over Turkey that my low level job gave me, Peas, Japs, Broc, spinach, fava beans from the garden Gluten Free Mushroom soup, lots of pepper, diced bacon(do not over cook the bacon!), Chedder cheese( do not buy the pre shredded ****. buy the chunk and grate it your self) should be ready by 6:30.

NONE of us here are ready to throw the towel in other than Butternut. ****, Trubiski is going to play just fine.

I'm no draft guru or pro talent evaluator but I just don't see / hear any of these QBs being worthy of a top 10 pick. My biggest concern is if they spend draft capital to move up. Kenny Pickett isn't going to add 5 additional wins over either Mitch or Rudolf, that's crazy OP crap.
