Law Enforcement official sent Video to NFL in April

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Mr Goodell just say the police refused to provide it... simply trying to say there was a mix up and it never got to him isn't going to make this go away... either he is lying about the police refusing it, or the police are lying about providing it, and if they provided it and he never got it then never bothered to make an effort to find out why he is just incompetent and should resign

Smells like spygate to me. It would be so nice if all of a sudden someone came up with those tapes?

Ol' Rog paraphrasing Cochran again: "If tapes don't exist, you can't persist" ... unfortunately for him, some security guard recorded the video on his/her cell phone and sold that to TMZ. Then the cop comes forward and provides evidence that he actually gave the NFL the video.
I mean Roger has to be thinking to himself; "keep evidence that you did something against the wishes of your bosses?" "Who does that?"

Roger is to video tape what Nixon was to audio tape. Until Roger is gone I'm done with the NFL. Vince McMahon has more integrity. I'll watch WWE.

I'm not so sure he did a great job getting through the head trauma disaster really. The research and evidence was ignored, minimized, discredited, etc., for as long as possible until he finally saw the writing on the wall and settled the class action lawsuit.

True, but I think the owners at least liked all the crap he did to give the perception that the league cared about players: the heads up crap, the fines and the bullcrap penalties on the field.

Kind of interesting that all this information is coming out Piece by Piece ... I would love it some orchestrated it .. I know impossible but kind of a fun thought ... LOL

I love when people in power "loss tapes or emails". Lol

I sad the other day this whole thing makes you wonder what was really on the cheatriots tapes. Hey goodell as long as your commish I continue to steal your games and buy knock off clothing that you get zero from

Although I was frustrated by the Clowns comeback, I have to look at this 1st week of football differently.

Steelers Won!
Clowns Lost!
Ratbirds Lost!
Cheatriots Lost!
Cryboys Lost!

And now the commish is in hot water - best first week of the season in recent memory!

I have been anti Goodell since the moment he whitewashed the audio equipment he seized during spygate. that was a bigger smoking gun than the practice tapes of the Rams, and he so eloquently buried it.

Troy summed it up best, it is all on Rog.....

Polamalu then recalled that the Steelers were the only NFL team to vote against the current collective bargaining agreement in 2012.

"I know that one of our main contentions, when our team was the only team to vote down the collective bargaining agreement, was that the Commissioner had sole power in being the judge and jury in these cases,'' Polamalu said. "So, it's all on him, and it was on him from the beginning.

"And I don't know what kind of access he had to that video, but unfortunately the NFL has become less about football and more about what surrounds football. I think it's pretty easy, nowadays, with social media, to lose track about the sport. A lot of parents want children to look up to these athletes as role models, so it's a double-edged sword.''

My take. This ends Roger. Some believe it won't, that he's protected, but remember, he's employed by the owners. This is going to continue to get bigger. Roger, himself, has tarnished "The Shield." Protests will be seen outside NFL stadiums over domestic violence. Congress is involved. People like Keith Olberman are calling for his head. Sports channels around the country, and national news outlets, can't stop discussing it with questions like "Should Roger Step Down?" He's become a blemish and the league, the media, the players, and soon (if not already) the owners will be singing the same tune.

He will step down or be forced out over this.

The video probably landed in the same place as the Pats* tapes.

After hearing of this, you have to think that those Spygate tapes must have been something to see...

I am sorry this is the situation that it took for it to happen but I will be beyond ******* overjoyed if this ambulance chaser is sent packing. I am hoping that the fans will speak and let the owners know that we want him to take his ***** *** excuse for football with him when he goes.

Anybody surprised that the one owner to go on TV and back Goodell was Kraft? I sure wasn't.

Not to mention the mountains of **** he has on Kraft. He could bury the Patriots and the league forever with what he knows. They can't fire him or he will bring down the whole league. He has made them his ***** over spygate, in fact he probably has the tapes in a safety deposit box as leverage against the owners.

I honestly would hate to see Rog go. Just for the fact that the next person will be 100 times worse at destroying the game.
