Law Enforcement official sent Video to NFL in April

No the brow will be flustered if there is no running game - he had trouble against Cinci last week....

Our run defense was #30 last year. Most teams have a running game against us.

Does anyone honestly think there is a team in the NFL that CAN'T run on the Steelers this year? Hell, Cleveland rolled up 183 yards rushing by 2 no name rookies. Somehow, I doubt Baltimore is worried about running on the Steelers.

It's not so much about the RBs but the OLine we face, and the Browns are actually good there

My Pops always said....

Every institution that becomes very large....ultimately becomes very corrupt.

I cannot disagree, but the point still stands. I am not saying the Steelers will not be able to stop the run at some point this season, but right now I would venture a guess that Baltimore is excited at the prospect of running the ball against the Steelers.

I hope they don't blame some poor secretary for this. Adam Schefter seems to know who the woman is but would not out her. They have a recording of her voice. My guess is it's a high level assistant and league insiders probably know her voice from speaking to her regularly when calling to talk to Goodell.

If Goodell did not see the video, it's because he didn't want to see the video. I don't believe for a second that he did not know there was video inside the elevator.

they'll make an scapegoat out of her as someone else said previously, but probably she will be well rewarded for taking the bullet

1. Most elevators have cameras.
2. All casinos have cameras everywhere.
3. Rog was laying some bullshit about legally getting it but that only matters to prosecutors in a court of law, not the head of a private organization (generally). One of the SN legal team can correct me if I'm wrong.

The beauty in all of this is that Goodell has hired the former Director of the FBI to convince the public that he is a ******* idiot who could not figure out what happened in that elevator without a video tape graphically depicting what was already known! More or less, Rog wants us to believe he needed the preschool version of the book that included pictures.

Not to condone what Ray Rice did, but I wonder what would happen if a video of Michael Sam punching his boyfriend in the face came out?

Screw a fine. If Goodell intentionally chose to distance himself from the video, he should be fired for gross incompetence. His credibility with those outside of the good ol' boy network that is the NFL would be/should be shot to hell. And if they don't fire him if any of this is true, the league's credibility is shot too.

There was no incompetence, he did exactly what he intended to do. There was bad faith, and dishonesty. Does anyone find it a bit odd the way penalties are called. It is more and more begining to look like a script for the games. Ravens cut rice penalties way in their favor to insure victory, ed hoculey helping ravens up from the field. 911 and that is the first year the red white and blue Patriots win the big game with questionable calls and video tapes to give them an edge. The game is changing and looking more and more like professional wrestling all the time, won't be long we will start having fake blood and fake injuries.
He is ruining the game and I have to agree with one of the other posters it would not be hard to stop watching the way it is going.

The saddest thing about the punishment is that it does nothing to stop the abuse and may lead to more of the same. Keeping him in the league and seeing him get counseling and education with things like anger management would be much better. Having her undergoing the same treatment could likely help her not go off in situations and escalate such encounters to the stage where violence is used. I am not placing blame here on either him or her the situation that we saw is not prevented by punishment. Nor is the situation the child is placed in by now having unemployed parents with likely no marketable skills and what maybe very poor parenting skills. The nfl had an opportunity to take time and come up with a real solution but chose the way of appearing to do something and being firm and strong but instead put a child at risk by taking away the income of said child's parents.
