It's easy to see this season and probably 2022 are going to be painful to watch..... the Steelers are in the rebuilding phase with a HOF QB. I can't rag on Big Ben he is the best QB the Steelers have had since the Terry Bradshaw Glory Years. Father Time and the injuries have finally caught up with Ben and it's hard to watch when you have been seeing him lead this team for the past 18 years.
MT on the other hand is a different situation-story.... I have never been a big Tomlin supporter. I have been watching the Steelers since 1976.... Chuck Noll and Bill Cowher are two great coaches that built their own Steelers Dynasty. IMHO I am not sure Tomlin can do the same....hope he can....but I doubt it. I'm 56 years old....I remember the years with Bubby Brister, Mark Malone-David Woodley, Nel O'Donnel, Mike Tomzak, Kordell Stewart (fun to watch), and Tommy Maddox at QB. Trust me 90% of those years were tough on Die Hard Steeler Fans. I hope like Hell we do not go down this long path with Tomlin rebuilding what he perceives the Steelers need to be going forward.
