Tired of hearing the announcers on the TV stating how elite this defense is. how the players are the elite of the elite players. I am not saying we don't have some great players but our coaches don't help them out at all.

what possible changes can he make that he didn't do in 60 minutes of football today? They were over matched on the first series of the game and Houston never looked back. And we were on defense. Our bread and butter of this team. 4th and 1, his OC got his QB hurt. I thought the 9ers game was embarrassing, as this game may have been worse. They are a pathetic football team and it starts at the top. Sorry Mike, but YOU didn't have this team ready AGAIN and a rookie QB and HC schooled your team today. Shove those changes up Canada's ***.
They won a SB. I'd take average about now. On the spectrum of things where couod this lie.

He'd have to take the shades off to look at the play sheet...that would not meet the standard.
This coaching staff is wasting the talents of Watt, Highsmith, Cam and a few others that do have what it takes to win, but will never win a SB here.

Remember when Minka first got here durring the season? He played above and beyond———— because he hadn’t been institutionalized by Coach Tomlin yet. The system hadn’t gotten him yet.

Yes especially this year minkah has been pretty invisible. Peterson needs to move to the slot and JPJ needs more playing time. I am not going to be too hard on the DB play because i think the scheme is terrible. The one play near the goal line the DB lined up outside the WR. It was begging the Texans to throw a slant which they did for a TD. The DB still managed to get decent coverage, but it was near impossible to cover that route with outside technique. At least line up even or inside and make them complete a tough fade...

Yes SIR, that was my point,…… Scheme of the “D” is definitely sub-par. It’s what we get when we get has been sub-par coaches and coaching.

He won't bench anyone. He thinks he has a better chance to win with Mitch. If Mitch pulls out a win next week, that will quiet everyone down until they stink it up again the following week or two. Mitch just might get him his .500 record..

Before today I honestly believed that what you said would be the route the Steelers would take this season. After today I don't think Tomlin has a choice but to fire Canada before next week. Fans are incredibly frustrated and there will be a major revolt next Sunday if he's still around.
At least that's what I'm hoping will happen.

yep, he got the boot at the end of last season and as far as I can tell, it looks like nobody's looking to bring him on board their staffs anytime soon. apparently ol' bruce thought the world of him when he had him on his staff, but of course, bruce was the one actually calling plays. when bruce left the HC position to ascend to the front office, leftwich officially took over as OC, and tampa's offense was nowhere near as efficient (even with tommy boy) as a result.
