My opinion on Willis

Isiah Loudermilk better be a damn force this season. Steelers traded pick 123 this year to get him. Guys that may be available at pick 123 include LBer Isiah Beavers from Cincinnati, DL Haskell Garrett from Ohio State, Alabama RB Brian Robinson, Miami (OH) S Sterling Weatherford, Penn St. CB Tariq Castro-Fields, Georgia CB Darian Kendrick, WR Javon Heighligh from Coastal Carolina, and Wisconsin LB Leo Chenal.

Ahhh, but if they hadn't traded that pick, they wouldn't have had Loudermilk last year when Tyson went down and Tuitt was unavailable. His contributions last season may seem meager, but he did progress to the point that he was an asset with those two out. More so than some of the younger DL guys who had a season or two of experience.

I'm on record saying that I do not want Willis, and will be the Jarvis Jones pick all over again. HOWEVER, even posting the stats, you have yourself shown that Willis is above Dobbs quite easily. Those TD to INT numbers are not even close. Dobbs with 5 more TD AND 11 more INT. Dobbs also does not have the same shifty RB style moves of Willis.

Actually, the only thing he was comparing was their size, as another poster called Green a midget.

Sometimes these threads are pure hilarity with the lack of reading and comprehension.
Playing vs liberty is a step above JUCO. Dobbs played in the SEC which is a step below the NFL. In my opinion if Dobbs played vs the likes of Campbell his stats would have dwarfed Willis.

I hope the Steelers don’t reach at #20. Drop back if they have suitors and pick up some needed draft picks to build the team around.

Yeap, he was a nice surprise after that out of nowhere draft target. He probably is set to be the 3rd DE in next year's rotation.

Who's the last impact player the Steelers have taken in the fourth round?

That's your opinion with no way to prove it. Dobbs is nowhere near the athlete or QB that Willis is, and I really don't want Willis. But I'm not gonna throw out that Dobbs would have been a better prospect in this year's draft in comparison. That's just absolutely stupid

I think Willis can bring some athletism to the position. I worry he is in the RB mold of Action Jackson. Lamar I think will bring you wins until those wheels fall off. But I don't think he brings you rings. Just does enough to leave you wanting more. I never have a feeling that he will achieve more.

Not unlike a certain head coach.

😇🤓🙀

I think they thought with what little they saw of Green at C that they could mold him into the position. I think they loved Muth. Maybe even a little frustration with Ebron's inconsistent.

I mean they made two solid choices 1 and 2. But fixing their Oline should have took priority.

Especially when you fail to fix it in free agency.

That made it so that the draft choices had to be ready sooner than later. Pigeon holing your Oline into a possible situation. Which of course flared it's ugly head.
I think Green played less than 50 snaps at center in college . What did they like?

His athletism. They thought that they could mold him into a C.

A risk that would have been fine if you didn't count on the guy starting out of the gate. Just a pour decision making process.

If Willis was such an athlete he’d probably have tested at the combine. He’s below average size and a below average athlete. Dobbs is superior in every way. Well, minus 3 points on a wonderlic… allegedly.

Great getting to edge and second level, outstanding motor, works down field as plays progress.
Let me complete these notes about Kendrick Green for you:

1) Great getting to the edge of his own backfield.
2) Outstanding motor; transmission works best in reverse.
3) Works down field, running aimlessly past potential blocks, as plays progress.

Stupid but funny

Stupid but funny
No, stupid was the Steelers opting to draft Green instead of Humphrey. Or you trying to pretend that they're in the same galaxy talent-wise.

No it was flat out stupid lowseed funny but stupid... Make some remark in bold to try and look or sound clever about that bull **** you just typed. People freaking crying about a rookie guard switched to center taken in the 3rd round by the Steelers. But he should have play flawless LOL... Note to self bold stuff for effect next time.

It isn't that he should have played flawless it is that he wasn't ready to start and shouldn't have been forced to play. Is the lowseed comment supposed to sound funny or clever? See how that works? Not knowing bullshit doesn't need a space is stupid. See how that works? Note to self when trying to flame others try not to come across as a twatwaffle when your not presenting yourself as intelligent.

So far a lot of your debates scream of less substance and more flame.

Be better.

To quote you " it is that he wasn't ready to start and shouldn't have been forced to play." See that comment makes sense and I can agree with that. But the other over the top bull **** (that's because you care) deserved nothing more than they got, so the comment I'm responding to needs to "Be Better"... So are you the bull **** police or just the expert twatwaffle? So don't lecture me on intelligence just because I'm willing to acknowledge both the good and bad to his game as a rookie unlike some they should, you know be better.

I will lecture you whenever the **** I want. I am the your constant flaming posts sucks clean it up police. You spend a lot of time telling everyone how stupid they are yet there you are looking stupid yourself.

If it was just one or two posts I wouldn't say anything, but your are trending ignorant.

Are you incapable of debating without trying to belittle? Try it.

Ok school teacher... LOL And I don't give a ****
Let see, a bunch of over the top post about Green that are full of **** and I look stupid, Yeah ok
When I do say something positive about Green I'm met with a garbage response of no substance Yeah and I'm incapable of debating.

Hey you should be happy I say something. First I am letting you know you are looking like a dumbfuck. That is educational. Second if your flaming increases you could be banned down the road.

Posters are debating on a message board. That isn't garbage just because you disagree.

MOST certainly SteelBuckeye. Add in last year's experience and I think he (Louderilk) steps up even more. So far I'm glad we got him and today looking back is hindsight as to what is here today. at that pick..

In Cope's interview he said.................................................................................. wait, there hasn't been an interview yet...................................

Salute the nation
