I think I saw sportstrac saying he should get a 3-year 27 million contract. If that’s the case I absolutely wouldn’t touch him with a 10 foot pole. But for 3-4 million a season I would be interested. The problem is I feel we have to overpay to resign players. I think we can still bring in free agents without overpaying and that’s because black players want to play for Tomlin from the outside looking in. But black players who have played for Tomlin want to gtfo of Pittsburgh. Especially offensive players. Pittsburgh is where you go to kill your career.
Leave color out of it dumbfuckk.

It's the same story: stuck on stupid. Since Najee got 300 carries to get 1,000 yards, just keep him in there. But it was crap 1,000 yards. He is just "a guy." Nothing special but Pgh just kept playing him because they are stupid. 1,000 yards is meaningless.

Option year was for less than $7 mill. Now they probably extend Warren. Draft another RB high to mid range. Savings will get all eaten up. Plus we lose a pick for other areas of need...
They own Warren similar to the way they owned Hilton. He will be a couple million. The third rounder will make Jack **** for entire time they would be paying Harris. You can use the Harris money to pay a FA.
Thing is why does the draft need to cover all areas of need?
Free agency can help with that.
Won’t ultimately solve the Steeler main problem but it can help with roster weaknesses.
3.2 RFA contract right of first refusal. If they draft one in the third the backfield will cost about 4.5 million or less. If you signed Harris or used his option and kept Warren (who to me is just as good) you would have been 11million min.
I think Minkah us the clearest wtf is that use of a player. I guess they said no one throws deep and the SS has everything else. I don't believe that couod have been his doing.

As some are speculating....maybe they extend Warren so they don't lose him possibly next offseason.

Overall I think he's better than Harris.
Definitely more explosive. Not as good hands .

Mrs warriors did the same thing but I got cream of wheat, scrambled eggs with mushrooms and onions as well as maple sausage. Blitz and warriors are some lucky guys.
Even if you extend Warren you have good leverage. He was on a rookie UFA contract at a very risky position. You can use that leverage of a RFA contract to get him on a three year deal with lower AAV.
