Nothing to see here folks, only hysteria... everyone go to home...or bed, its almost 11:30

My daughter lives in England and is supposed to travel to London this month with a friend for a concert. I don't want her to go now. She's been all over Europe with friends, and it doesn't worry me. But with as ****** as London is right now, I wish she would skip the concert and stay close to her home.

Your side would be wise to realize that and start considering concessions instead of getting all Laura Ingraham on the kids. You’re not serving your best interest.

And your side would be wise to realize this guys POV. starts at about 4:30
PS He would look good in Black and Gold.

don't worry. no one's coming to take your knives.

Sure, that’s what you were doing. But never mind that, perception is reality and people aren’t concerned with the numbers per 100,000 but rather how horrific mass shootings are, especially when they involve children. Your side would be wise to realize that and start considering concessions instead of getting all Laura Ingraham on the kids. You’re not serving your best interest.

Let me get this straight, when someone uses facts about how rare mass school shootings are than perception is reality. When someone points out that Islamic terrorists are murdering people you justify that based on percentages of population...Hypocritical much?

Not me, the country. If terrorists were attacking schools every other month with similar casualty numbers as mass shootings, then that would be the concern. When the next school shooting happens, there will be millions of anxious parents wondering about the safety of their kids. Wake up! It’s not going away.

And the President, and all members of congress will blame each other for allowing it to happen, accuse each other of not doing anything about it, talk tough about the thing that they are gonna do, and then never actually do anything and blame others for the stuff they failed to do. And people will line up at the pols and keep voting for these numb nut ******** in Washington, thinking that our government actually has their best interests in mind, never ever actually realizing that neither side wants to solve this problem because they need it for votes and fundraising.

and what you fail, again, to understand, is that no one... literally NO ONE... from either side wants children to die.
comprehend that?

as Pride said, you mix the issues to meet your point. Instead of looking at the facts and letting that sum be your point.

no one wants people to die via knife nor gun. nor bus, nor car. not here not there. not close nor afar.

(tried to summon my Dr Seuss to get it through your dense ******* head)

You are right, terrorism keeps getting worse and it is not going away. But don't let statistics and facts stand in your way. Typical liberal, make up facts to try and support your argument when reality does not match your own perceptions.

When knives are outlawed, only outlaws will have knives ...

Home deliveries of knives bought online to be banned in UK

The delivery of knives bought online to private addresses is to be banned under a package of measures to tackle knife crime to be announced by the home secretary, Amber Rudd.

Knives bought online will in future have to be collected in person, with retailers responsible for checking that all buyers are 18 or older.

Rudd’s announcement of further action to tackle knife crime comes in advance of publication of the lastest quarterly crime figures on Thursday, which are expected to show a further rise in knife crime.

That's no meme.

I like that guy

He dropped so much common sense on them at one time that every Liberal politician's head in that room probably exploded on the spot. He's basically speaking a foreign language to them. I'd love to see Elfie stroll up, stick his elitist nose in the air and call that guy an Uncle Tom right to his face. Hell, I'd pay good money to see that.

In the beginning he sounded a little like Tomlin.

365 is a shitload of cemeteries. Ron, you should look and see if anyone is hiring there.

The thing about that guy is he spoke common sense and from the heart.

We are NOT a democracy. We are a CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC. We have inalienable rights that no matter what the majority thinks will never be taken away.

I sometimes think the 2nd amendment is the groudbreaking of all the other amendments. I mean, if you can take guns away or restrict them into a "neutered" law, then what prevents the "democracy" from enacting restrictions on all the other basic rights of the founders? Where do we stop? Where is the end of "Democratic Rule"?

Court Rules Second Amendment Doesn’t Protect AR-15, Assault Rifles and Large-Capacity Magazines
http://www.newsweek.com/massachuset...amendment-doesnt-protect-ar-15-assault-875779

A federal court ruled on Friday that AR-15 rifles, the high-powered rifle used in the Parkland mass shooting, as well as similar military-style rifles and high-capacity magazines are not protected under the Second Amendment.

"AR-15s and [large capacity magazines] are most useful in military service, they are beyond the scope of the Second Amendment [...] and may be banned," wrote Massachusetts District Court Judge William Young. The case was first brought in January 2017 by several gun owners, the nonprofit group Gun Owners' Action League, and gun stores On Target Training and Overwatch Outpost.

The plaintiffs filed the lawsuit after Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey put gun dealers and manufacturers on notice that her office would begin enforcing the state's 1998 assault weapons ban that prohibited copies or duplicates of AR-15 and AK-47 rifles. Healy issued that notice in June 2016, days after the Pulse nightclub shooting, in Orlando, Florida, where a gunman armed with a military-style rifle killed 49 people—the second deadliest mass shooting in modern American history.

Healey, who was named as a defendant in the case, lauded Young's decision in a statement on Friday, vowing that her office "will not be intimidated by the gun lobby."

"Today’s decision upholding the Assault Weapons Ban vindicates the right of the people of Massachusetts to protect themselves from these weapons of war and my office’s efforts to enforce the law," Healey said in a statement. "Strong gun laws save lives, and we will not be intimidated by the gun lobby in our efforts to end the sale of assault weapons and protect our communities and schools. Families across the country should take heart in this victory.”

"This the latest in a long line of decisions holding that common-sense gun laws are completely compatible with the Second Amendment,” Eric Tirschwell, director of litigation at Everytown for Gun Safety, told Newsweek in an emailed statement.

In fact the Founders hated democracies.

We don't say "....to the Democracy for which it stands, one nation..."

don't worry. no one's coming to take your knives.

They have already taken them out of all the schools. No plastic knives to cut food.
