Not too early: what to do at QB?

Bottom line you cannot draft at 21 or whatever they are and hope for a day one starter. They are going to have to be ultra aggressive or the music will stop real quick with no chair to sit on.

Sign Fields and then go after Mac Jones for vet back up. Low cost estimate 5-6mil/1yr.

PRO-action strategy, instead of waiting and having to make a RE-action decision.

NO, Mac isn't the answer, but as a veteran back up he would fill the bill. He does have playoff experience as a bonus.

cooper, diggs and hopkins. idk if any are worth what the price may be.

i'm all in for egbuka, golden or burden with our first pick. can't imagine mcmillan falls to 21, but him too. i would like to move up by packaging pickens with pick 21 and w/e else if we have a shot at mcmillan.

also wouldn't mind trading back a little for tre harris. he looks great...when he's healthy.

I like this layout unless the Najee is resigned. Strong indication that talks have happened. Anything is possible but also realize I'm for a different RB than Najee.

the only way I draft a WR in the 1st round is because we traded GP for a 1st. Then go WR, DL in the 1st round and then double WR in the 2nd or 3rd

it'd have to be a package deal with our own 1st to get a first with pickens. there are some really good wrs that will be available with pick 52. so hard to guess what to do before free agency.

So you create a BIGGER hole that now needs MULTIPLE picks to fill, in a draft that is deeper in the positions we're already thin at...gotcha, makes complete sense.

I get it, you're the one the doesn't get it. We have one talented WR on the roster. WR2 was a hole last year. He wants to trade our one talented WR AND our first round pick up move up in a draft that you should be trying to trade DOWN in. Therefore adding another need in the roster with no extra picks to fill it.

I get it, you hate Tomlin...doesn't change the fact that we need to fill holes in the roster. How else are we going to continue the "never a losing season"?

Talks about getting deal done by Sunday, possibly Monday but if that don't happen the Steelers may not be interested after that.

I think the STEELERS will pursue Mr. Fields until he is signed elsewhere or we draft a QB. I thionk the deal will get done over the weekend, late.

Fields has higher upside. But let’s be honest what other real choices are there right now that are better? The pickings are slim.
