Not too early: what to do at QB?

He was never used correctly and would look good in B&G

The hands are the only factor, they are disproportionately out of whack, maybe to much whacking stunted their growth ????

They need to stop all this nonsense with 37 year old Stafford and 42 year old Rodgers and 36 year old Cousins. We don’t need any of them and they should consider retiring.
Trevor Lawrence is way overpaid and over hyped and he’s not coming to Pittsburgh nor should they want him to come.
Just sign Justin before FA starts and build around him. The OL should be better, add two new quality WRs, real WRs this time not the frauds they have been bringing in here. Draft and FA should fix that. Draft a solid RB to pair with Warren who they should re-sign.
Year two in Arthur’s offense should benefit Justin and if he flops, then we draft our QB in 26.
This is nonsense wanting to bring in one of these old veteran QBs. If they’re thinking that QB brings them to a SB they are more delusional than I thought.

All great points and thanks for your great post(s) along the way.

ONLY one flaw in this line of thinking…… They only need 8 wins and 1 tie, nothing near a SB win.

They brought in a guy an OC that molded LJ. I think he has done special things with him.

I think that's why Smith likes Fields over Wilson. Fits his system better, and I think Smith could very be the right guy to build an offense around Fields. Whether or not it's successful remains to be seen.

I wouldn't waste draft capital or large $$ on a QB until we have a better foundation around him. Bringing in an expensive vet without a competent line and WRs is just a waste of $$ and/or draft picks. I would be fine rolling with Fields or even Wilson for cheap and focus on the trenches.

We shouldn't spend a dime on a QB - money or draft capital as long as Tomlin is here. He is now on record showing Rooney and Steeler Nation that he is the one holding the team back on both sides of the ball. No throwing over the middle and no audibling. This is truly disturbing coming from a head coach. He doesn't play to win, period. He plays not to lose. That is not how successful teams do things and is the reason we are stuck right around 500 with blowout losses if we do sneak into the playoffs.
