He has since removed that "like" on the post.
Just read they haven’t even been contacted by anyone yet about brown. Like I said they won’t sniff a 1’st rounder
I remember when I suggest Bryant should be traded. Some here laughed, then once it happened the rest of the board helped push the door shut on him as he was exiting.
They weren't going to pursue anything until Rooney met with them and Colbert flat out said they expect serious suitors only, meaning quality compensation.
Probably after his agent told him to quit acting like a knucklehead. It's not like he accidentally liked that tweet.
Oh...you know Rosenhaus has taken over his posting privileges. After watching his Podcast, he's doing everything he can to make both sides happy. He has a good relationship with KC and Omar. He definitely doesn't want to burn any bridges with the club for player representation now and in the future. Unlike Baskari, Bell's agent.
He took it over for the picture with ARII unless you really believe Brown composed that message himself.

If the Steelers trade Brown to a contending team in either conference and fail to get AT LEAST a 1st round pick I will lose my mind. At some point they have to think to themselves, we are not going to set a precedent that you can ***** and moan and get moved to a SB calibre team and we get a 3rd round pick in return. That's ******* bullshit. Trade his sorry *** to Buffalo for their 2nd rounder and be done with it. Can you imagine the melt down there would be from AB in a place like Buffalo? Just do it Colbert. Please.
A 3rd round pick for a contender is not much better than letting him leave via FA and getting a comp. pick. The Steeler should send his stupid *** to a non-contending team without a real QB. That does two things. First it shows they aren't playing and 2nd it allows them to get a higher pick even if it's later in the draft (Top of the 3rd as opposed to end of the 3rd).
Character concerns could limit his appeal...
As IronCity (I believe) mentioned earlier - Brown is under contract. He has a signed contract for 3 more years. That means after the upcoming season he may become a restricted FA and the year after that a UFA. He has absolutely no control over whether or not a team chooses to renegotiate his contract. The ONLY power he has is if he chooses to sit out and not be paid. (I sincerely doubt that is a realistic option for Brown as A, he needs the money and B he couldn't stand to not be "The Man".)
Any team that gets Brown is getting a STEAL because they get the contract without any signing bonus. It's easy cap accounting for them and honestly, for his production, the price tag isn't bad.
Any team that DOES take Brown and then voluntarily renegotiate his contract... well they're getting what they deserve.

Green Bay really seems like the ideal fit. They have a new coach and two first round picks. They can get an impact rookie at No. 12 and Brown would be a bigger impact than anyone they get at No. 30. That could instantly put them in contention in the NFC North.
trade brown to the bungles for William Jackson III and their 1st round pick
They won't do it because of not wanting to trade him in the division, but I actually like that trade.
