Path to playoffs..

Games of interest:

Chiefs @ Chargers - we want Chiefs to win this, I like their chances.
Raiders @ Browns - we want Raiders but I think Browns win.
Patriots @ Colts - we want Patriots. This is arguably the biggest game for our playoff hopes thru wildcard.
Panthers @ Bills - we want Panthers. Not going to happen.
Jets @ Dolphins - we want Jets if you consider Dolphins a WC threat.
Bengals @ Broncos - we probably want Broncos to win if we want a shot at the division. It's kind of a win win though.
Packers @ Ravens - obviously we want packers. This feels like a game Ravens are suppose to lose but somehow win. Hopefully not.

Most important game is probably the Pats @ Colts.
Even if all our division wins this weekend, if we win 3 of our last 4, we have a good chance at winning the division with the teams the rest of our division plays.

Let's get the W on Sunday and see what happens!

We got the W. Wasn't pretty but don't care. Was an awesome game to be at, had some flurries and was apart of the big MVP chant for TJ.

Chargers lost and Ravens lost. Unfortunately, Colts and Bengals won but not the end of the world.

We want Raiders to get the W tonight.

I'll be updating the games tomorrow for this upcoming weekend then.
 
Browns losing was another step in the playoff direction.

I'm not counting on beating Chiefs but who knows.. right now, we're 10pt underdogs.

Games of interest for this weekend:
Browns @ Packers - this should be an L for Browns.
Colts @ Cardinals - We need Colts to lose for our WC chances. 50-50 game.
Ravens @ Bengals - We want Ravens to win this game for our division chances. Not a huge deal if Bengals win but we need Bengals to lose 2 of their last 3.
Chargers @ Texans - I doubt Chargers lose to them.
Bills @ Patriots - Unfortunately, we want Patriots.
Broncos @ Raiders - Win win either way. Basically an elimination game.
Dolphins @ Saints - We want Saints to knock Dolphins out of contention.

Bottom line, we need to win 2 of last 3 and we have a shot.

Let's shock the world this weekend!
 
Cannot see the Steelers making the playoffs. I predicted seven wins in the pre season and will stick to that. As for the Pats vs the Bucs, no way. Chiefs vs the Packers in the SB.
 
Well, I wasn't counting on beating the Chiefs. Also wasn't counting on getting **** kicked out of us... but here we are.

Browns got the L.
Colts got the win which doesn't help
Bengals won which hurts our chances.
Chargers losing is big for WC
Bills winning hurts us for WC
Broncos losing helps
We want Saints to beat Dolphins.

We're in the 10th spot now after being in the final playoff spot until we got the loss.
We need Cinci to lose the final 2 and we need to win the final 2 to win the division. They got Chiefs at home, who are playing for 1 seed. Then they goto Cleveland in the last week. I wouldn't be shocked to see them lose both or win both.

Bottom line, we gotta take care of business Monday night in which could be Ben's final home game.

Even if we get to the playoffs we'll get slapped silly at some point. We can't even put four good quarters together, let alone four good games.

Upside, we never lose on Monday night at home and we almost never lose to Cleveland at home.
Shades' MNF record is amazingly good. Above the line if you will, obviously.
 
No player direction overall. SOFT, can't say it loud enough. Under coached by entire staff.

There is light at the end of the tunnel but the train is running the wrong direction for the change needed.

Until they learn the basics of blocking and tackling as a unit, the standard will be the standard.
 
Here's what we need for the playoffs:

First and foremost, need to win both games.

For the division we need the Bengals lose to Chiefs and Browns, we win the division then.

For the WC:
We need the Colts to beat the Raiders this weekend and now that Wentz is going to be out, this doesn't look good.
Chargers need to lose to the Broncos. We need either Raiders or Chargers to lose this weekend, preferably both. If they Both win then their game in the last week is win and in for both teams.

If Colts lose this weekend and then somehow lose to Jags in the final weekend, we'd get in.

If Bills somehow lose to Falcons and Jets, then we'd get in.

We also need the Dolphins to lose to either Titans or Patriots.

Our best chance was probably for Raiders to lose this weekend then beat Chargers in the final week. If Bengals, Raiders, and Chargers win this weekend.. we're pretty much done whether even if we win.

That's also a potential way in but I can't see Jags winning in NE.
 
NFL should have stuck to 6 playoff teams per conference. Less chance of undeserving teams making the field. Knowing the league's fascination with money, it is more likely they will add playoff teams before they cut them. Take away KC, and the AFC is a mishmash of mediocrity. And the Steelers certainly have no right to play any postseason games this year.
