Path to playoffs..

For the division, we need the bengals to lose to the chefs, and somehow the eliminated browns beat the bengals next week. And of course win both games. Pretty unlikely, but not impossible.

For the wildcard, we need to win both, and hope 3 teams don't make it to 10 wins. Since the 8-7 raiders and 8-7 chargers play next week, we need them both to lose this week.
So, between the pats, dolphins, colts, raiders, and chargers, we have to hope only 2 of them get to 10 wins. Since the pats and colts are already at 9, our best chance, I think, is for the dolphins, raiders and chargers not to win their final 2.
if that doesn't happen, we need the pats or colts to lose their final 2.
I also see that the pats and dolphins play next week. So I guess we want the titsticks to beat Miami today.

Do I think the Steelers belong in the playoffs? No, but I'm pulling for them, and crazier things have happened.

Today, we root for:
chefs over bengals
**** over dolphins
donks over chargers
jags over pats, haha
colts over raiders, I guess. This game hurts our chances, regardless.

I don't think we can be eliminated with a Steeler win this week, but it can be damn close.

I guess the bills are another team to root against, since they're sitting on 9 wins, but with games against the falcons and jets, I doubt very much they lose them both.
 
HAHAHAHA...I'm not sure who to root for in all this ****...

I hate ALL THESE TEAMS....Oh well, beat the **** out of each other
 
So basically we should be rooting hard for Denver over the chargers right now

If we manage to beat the pathetic browns, we will be behind potentially three teams.., for two spots open

if tge chargers lose today, we’d only be behind 2…
 
Look if the chargers win, they play the raiders next week… both beat us so a tie does us no good there, but as long as one loses and one wins that means wed get in winning out with a highly unlikely colts loss to the Jags

If the bolts lose to denver, then if they beat the raiders next week we could slide in even if the colts win
 
Yeah, pretty much screwed.
If the chargers win today, the raiders/chargers winner ends up ahead of us, no matter what.
That leaves us needing the jags to beat the colts.
That's if we could win both our games.
Not impossible to make the playoffs, but highly unlikely.

If Denver wins, we need to win out and next week Chargers need to beat the Raiders. Not worth mentioning options relative to the Colts due to the fact that they can't possibly lose to Jax next week.
 
So the Chargers are already up 17-0... if they hold on and win then the winner of the Raiders and Chargers game gets in the playoffs. If I am correct the only way the Steelers could get a playoff spot would be to win out and the Colts lose to the jags next week. I don’t that happening, but the Steelers don’t deserve to be in the playoffs anyway.

Well, fellas. It's over.

It really sucks Ben's final two games are meaningless. In fact, I almost want to lose to end the Tomlin never losing season streak.

Sucks for Ben. He deserved a lot better. We couldn't beat the Lions and that killed us.

This organization is going down hill.

This is far from true… moving the lions tie to a win really changes little…they had high playoff chances until the loss vs Minnesota… a team that we should have beaten and almost did playing a quarter and a third of actual football…
Turn that loss into a win and we are in relatively good position right now… instead we are going to win out and finish in 8th like Tomlin teams do…

Yes… the chargers play the raiders so as long as tgey don’t tie we would be ahead of one and behind the other

The colts would drop behind us with a loss to the brutally bad Jags

Here is what’s going to happen

Scenario 1… we lose to the Browns, beat tge Ravens and the colts lose to the jags and we miss by one loss

Scenario 2 we beat the Browns and tge colts lose, but we blow it to the Ravens so we miss by one loss

Scenario 3 we beat both the Ravens and Browns but the colts win so it’s irrelevant…

What isn’t going to happen is we lose out and get the best draft pick we can
 
Maybe that #1 pick (Trevor Lawrence) the JAGS got will have the game of a lifetime ???

Yes we are in because Raiders play Chargers next week giving one of them 8 losses like the colts to Steelers 7 ,unless of course they tie then who knows?
 
well looks like we need a colts loss. Steelers win 2 and we in.
So only way in is for jags to beat colts 🤦‍♂️
 
This team is prepping for the offseason after tomorrow. Good luck Ben and just go out and sling it tomorrow
 
They don't deserve to be in the playoffs but the impossible/improbable happened in 89. Sounds about the same as what we're up against. That 89 team was a lot more fun to watch. They had grit and came damn close to going to the AFC Championship game. Likely they won't make it but let's see what happens.
