Listened to the post game and they mentioned that both Sid and Geno played the entire 82 game season. First time in 8-9 years for Geno. That's pretty impressive actually.

When Letang played his 1000th game Geno was quoted as saying something to the effect that it was amazing because at this point it's tough to find the motivation to go to every practice. I thought to myself, if you lost the love for the game, WTF are you doing this Geno? Is that why you take obviously stupid penalties? you need a solid 2 minute break? I mean...I can give you 6.1 million reasons why you should go to practice and bust your *** every shift.
Yep finish it like they played all year. 3rd period collapse, take a penalty and give up the lead.
Pretty weird watching a Pens game that had absolutely no importance or meaning.

Now see who they hire to start the rebuild. I read FSG’s statement, but I can’t fathom that they honestly believe this team has a cup run left in it. They need to move on from several players, and not just bottom six guys. Some bad contracts up and down the lineup, and I’m not sure they can overcome that.
