I love Downie's bulldog mentality. He's a great fit, so far. He doesn't go looking for a trouble, but will stand his ground defending his teammates.

Throwback jerseys threw the Pens back to last year.Ten minutes of good hockey, then they fall apart. I hope it has to do with long layoffs.
 
STILL no answer for that mother ******* neutral zone trap!! In ten years they haven't figured that **** out and it drives me insane, almost as insane as the fact that these jagoff's are like 10-2-1 here since Consol was built.....they might not own the place but they sure are renting it.

I can't tink of a better question than what my son texted me last night which was "why do these guys completely forget how to play hockey when they face the Flyers"? My answer was because the Flyers are in their heads which is hard to deal with when you have no locker room leadership, which I still believe to be the case.

Like what I'm seeing from Comeau, Spaling and Ehrhoff.

Dump the puck in and go banging body's for it in the corners is one way. But they have very few, if any, players gritty enough to do this on a regular basis. Too many flash and dash guys. Also, MAF just isn't good enough. Plus he scares the **** out of me every single time he goes behind the net to handle the puck. From what I've seen, they look just like last years Pens except with a few different names.

We do seem to be getting more bodies to the net though, I don't miss Neal at all.

Flyers suck but somehow have the Pens #.
Don't worry, flyers aren't making it the playoffs so this doesn't matter.

as afar as momentum and getting the monkey off the Pens' backs, I believe it does matter. The Flyers don't own Consol Energy Center, but they surely could call it home.
 
I don't even see the Flyers as much as rivals anymore....that's gone to Boston
 
Crosby turns into a ***** against the Flyers the last 3 years...he used to own them.

Fleury is such a head case. He won't stay in the net, and he looks like his stick is going to go flying at any moment..he's a mess positionally in net.

Letang is trying to do too much..

Spaling and Comeau are little balls are hate and anger! Awesome
