Sadly, I'm not excited for tonight's game. After Sunday, I am feeling pretty deflated. The Pens looked great until the Isles started consistent hitting. Then the **** show started. They have to be MUCH better in their own end, and they have to sustain some pressure in the Isles end. The PP needs to do better than the disaster it was in game one. They have a lot to correct. Here's hoping they get it done.
Come on buckaroo, what's the worst that can happen? They are playing golf next week? Actually, that's what will happen if they don't solidify their game tonight in all phases. Jarry needs to be a wall. If he crumbles, the Pens are done. I'm trying to be positive and hoping for the best. Sully is coaching for his job. They get outed in the first round again, he may be on the hotseat. I can't see Burke/Hextall backing that mess.
I'm also hoping for a spanking tonight. They need to make a statement and get the series back on track. It's freightening to watch the other games. Watched Colorado last night. Damn, they are good.
