Sleep it off bud. We’ll all be back next season. Let’s hope for an interesting off season and enjoy the SN forum in it’s entirety
I would pull Spencer Carbery out of the Caps farm system. Dude is a fantastic coach. The Hershey Bears won their division and if the AHL wouldn't have gotten their liberal panties in a wad and cancelled the Calder Cup playoffs, they had a great chance of winning it all. Finally - I think it is time for a dick coach and one that wants to play a harder hitting style of hockey. Not dirty or cheap just aggressive, taking the action and play to the other team. A system that can at times just lock up the neutral zones. They should with all the talent be in the top 10 in both PP and PK.

Trots' "structure" beat the Pens 3 PO series in a row now. His structure is a Pens killer. Reminds of a HC from NE that knows how to beat another team we know and love. Pisses me off, too. That's why a change is necessary. You keep the same system, coaches will break the barrier eventually. Sully's resume is fantastic, B2B Cups will be forever grateful, but the failures also resemble another HC we know. What have you done lately league? The thing that pisses me off most about the last few years is everyone talking about how good the Isles "structure" is....
If its so #&^@% *%$^good, how come they haven't raised the cup with it yet?!?!?
Seems the other teams figure out and beat Trot's "structure" but ill be dammed if the Pen's players and coaching staff can....
Their structure isn’t the best. Trotz designed it to beat the speed of the Pens and force an aging Crosby and Malkin to carry the play. The Pens did carry play, the lack of net front presence is what hurt this team. The thing that pisses me off most about the last few years is everyone talking about how good the Isles "structure" is....
