Just purchased the NHL Ticket a few hours before game for myself and daughter number 2 to watch all the Pens games into the playoffs...

The Pens have been passed by. By a number of teams. Caps are in the same boat. The Pens, at this point are nothing more than a good regular season team. They need to move on from reclamation projects and start building for the future. There are no more Cups in the future for “the core.”

Yea at this point I have pretty much wrote what happens the rest of the regular season off its almost a moot point now.

1 2 3 or 4 seed doesn't matter. The Canes/Rangers are going to beat the Pens/Caps. Either of the latter make it past the first round it will be a surprise. I almost think I would like to see them be the 4 seed and play the Canes first round?

All we can hope for is Sullivan to tweak things here and there, and maybe they catch fire like we have seen a few times this season, at the right time, and for god sakes NOBODY get hurt.....Malkin went down the other night and I about had a heart attack, and Letang got banged up the other night too.

They absolutely can't afford anything like that from here on out.
