Well it's competitive so far. How you blow it after you tie it up 22 seconds later just trips my switch.

This is a real barometer game on the road. The Avs are damn good

I've been saying that this is a game that tells us about ourselves. I am not sure we have the ponies to life the cup this year.

I actually felt like the Pens did pretty damn good on the road and against the best team in hockey. This loss halfway feels like a win..

That was one hell of a rebound off the boards to Toews. It's like they practiced that one..

We came up short but that game just as easily could have been ours...Shout out to Jarry too. I thought he had a great game.

I listened to the Pens radio and watched the ABC video. Phil mentioned several times that it's time for the supporting cast to start scoring. Granted we got one from Matheson which was a sweet goal and play that led to his goal but there's a bunch who need to make their presence felt and make the most of their opportunities otherwise they might find themselves living in Wilkes-Barre.

The last two games have shown how they struggle against a hard checking teams. They get pinned against the boards, manhandled and lose the puck constantly. How many times did they have trouble getting out of the zone today. Seemed like the Aves were always in their zone.

No way does that bode well in a 7 game series.

I thought the Pens played well too.
The Avs are damn near unbeatable at home. The Pens played them close.

Tuesday night will give us a fairly accurate indication of what to expect in the playoffs.

The last couple of games have shown me we are capable of competing in the post season...with as always, goaltending being the critical factor between a playoff series win or loss...

Avs goalie was the deciding factor yesterday....Jarry didnt play bad, but was outplayed by Kuemper..
