Either these guys are coasting til the playoffs or they are what they are. Going back the past few years. I think the latter.

I normally would save this for the Bucs back in the day but it might be necessary for the Pens sooner than later.
…but it’s going to be a year or so of 1 and done playoff hockey. They’re good enough to get in the post season. As bad as they are, they can win with some lucky bounces but that’s still a long shot no pun intended
A year or so? Easy to replace Sid Geno and Letang? More like a decade or so. There needs to be a whole lotta suck and some lucky lottery's.
They got skated around tonight like its was a pre season game, and there are some teams in the east that would sweep the Oilers most likely.

The panthers and hurricanes do just fine without superstar talent. Nowhere did I say the Pens need to replace those three. I don’t think any of us here expect them to go far in the playoffs. I know I don’t, that’s just reality. This team lacks any type of grit, push to go far, but again, you never know.
Small sample size with these highlights but it seems like the baby Pens actually take shots when needed.

David Morehouse “stepped down” today. I used quotes, because I feel like he was probably forced out by the new ownership group. I also feel like this is the start of restructuring management and reshaping the roster. Curious to see what they do with the roster. Lord knows it needs big changes. Hopefully it will be fun to watch.
From the sound of things. FSG doesn’t play around. So this should shape up to be an interesting offseason

I’m not expecting much from the Pens. There really is no scoring threat aside from Crosby’s line. The Rags have a lot more depth than we do.
If it’s a quick series. Expect Fenway sports group to make some major changes. If it’s a competitive series and the Pens lose or advance. I see Sullivan getting a chance with the new ownership
