Per Gerry Dulac,

If Rogers is signed, at least it should be entertaining. I can't help but think that Rogers will do more of whatever he wants than Ben ever did.

I don't think they believe Fields is better, they are just parting ways with Rogers. They are in the same position as the Steelers, looking for a bridge QB.
I don't think the Steelers are looking for a bridge qb. We brought Russ in last year to be the missing vet qb. He was suppose to be the fix all guy. Now there is speculation that we want to bring Rogers in. We have no one to bridge anything to at the moment. Tomlin and the organization apparently believe we are in a win now situation.

Any ***** is NOT good *****. I have bad flashbacks from Germany to prove that...and a coupla memories from a hot steamy night in Tuscaloosa...
I guess your vast experience in this area has to be respected. I, myself have never found any to be less than good, but then again my experience is much more limited as I didn't have much of a window when I was 17 years old.

That is because they have refused to accept that they have been in rebuild status since Ben retired. They could have been in re-charge mode if they would have been able to develop a young QB years ago. Now they need a bridge to nowhere QB. Hopefully they draft and pick up a few QB's in the next couple of years and one pans out.

With WR DK Metcaf’s signing the Steelers should stick with Russel Wilson.

I'll be as critical as anyone when it comes to the Steelers, but they haven't exactly failed in building a solid roster other than the QB position. Khan/Weidl have focused on drafting premium positions early in the draft and have made some big swings during the offseason. A franchise QB isn't exactly easy to acquire.

You see a bright, hopeful future with Rogers under center and Clown-lin running things?
I have no Idea who clown-lin is. Or Rogers for that matter. I know you are clinically obsessed with Tomlin to the point of it being a mental illness. I mean I get that some don't like him as coach and have legitimate criticisms but man you are just over the top. The few times you stay away from mentioning him you seem reasonable, but you have to chill out for your own sanity. I don't think there is a person on this board that doesn't know how you feel. It is implied by now it doesn't have to be every other word you say.

And no Rodgers isn't my answer, but I am not sure who else is at this point. Like I said if he ends up the guy, I will support him. Life is much better when you take a glass half ful approach. Much better for your health.

Aaron can drop dimes on the sidelines. His disagreements with Tomlin could be epic.
