Congratulations to the team...to the coaches, and the owners and front office..........

Many hear were ready to give up on coach Tomlin and this team.....but with patience they fought through and emerged and division champions. Back on top where we belong after a two year absence. Reclaiming what is rightfully ours.

Kudos to the defense thats coming together at the right time....lots of pieces filling in the last several weeks to keep things afloat. Im proud of how we regrouped through adversity and turned this thing around.

We're back *******...ready for a run !!!!

Yes sir bring on the Ravens.

congrats Steelers a hard fought win !

I will be the first to admit that there were a couple of times this season that I wanted Tomlins head on a pike (and again tonight when we tried that stupid *** Wing pass). But overall we finished up really strong. If Bell can go next week I really like our chances. And I really hope if we beat the gayvens that we get to beat Manning in the playoffs again. With AB, Bell, and Ben we can beat anyone.....especially if we get a bunch of turnovers like we did tonight.

WE RIDE!

The second half of this season is the first time in YEARS...even before the two 8-8 seasons, that the Steelers actually looked like they were playing with emotion. When Bell went down it looked like the whole team was shell shocked. So glad Brown was able to make that TD catch...otherwise I think that emotionless play would have carried into next week.

The Steeler season turned around when Ron Burgundy nicknamed Tomlin Coach Cool Shades. You could look it up.

Thanks Ron, congrats to the entire Steeler organization for a strong finish to the regular season.

it all depends on Bell's health. That will be THE story as the week goes on.

Saying that, I am very impressed that they won the AFCN. If I had a quarter for how many times I wanted this team and coaching staff overhauled, I'd be able to buy season tix next year. Great turn around. I like our chances on Saturday night, but it will ride on whether we have our #1 RB behind Ben.

From sinking ship with a terrible HC, a DC that's too old, an OC that Snoop Dawg wanted a hit out on, and a defense that couldn't stop an old woman from crossing the street to #3 in the AFC.

Great improvement on the defense in December, and an epic offense. What an exciting season!

Time to make a run!!!

Get healthy Bell, we need 4 wins for #7.

PS. We haven't lost to a team with a winning record yet this season. That's a good sign, as long as we don't face Carolina in the SB...

So awesome!

Proud of this team!

Feels good man.

No worries. Carolina will need 3 wins to make it to the SB, so they'll be above 500 if that happens...

I will give the coaching all the way around a good job. Even the wing pass that did not work out in hind sight was called at the right time and might have been as good as a punt had it worked like the pass to Spaeth earlier in the year it would have been called brilliant. I hope the team manages to stay together as they are making improvements and seem to work better as a group than one would think the individuals do on their own.

I hope they still have some magic left to play on the Ravens. Harris our practice squad running back sure looked good on that long run. This kid might be something to use so we can see if Bell can be rested next week as the gavens will hit his knee a lot if they get the chance.

The Team has really come together.......early in the season they were sloppy, not disciplined, or fundamentally sound.

They have improved in all of these areas and throughout all units with the exception of punting.

That is great coaching by Tomlin, Lebeau, Haley, Lake, Porter and Munchak and better player execution.........
,

A bizarre season with all that happened, with a bad start to an incredible offensive run that would help develop one of the best offensive trios in the league. Not even a horrible fake punt could wreck it at the end.

Congrats to them I was one after the Jet game that was ready to overhaul, I thought we were done the way the defense was playing. They really turned it around, now onto the Gayvens!!!!!!!

Lost to the Ravens.....sadly.

We beat them already this year - in Carolina...

All focus now is on Bert and crew in Baltimore.

We split games with them this season. Saturday night will prove who the best team is - best out of three...

I always expected a good season record-wise from this group, with this schedule.

That said, I think the best compliment I can give the team and coaches is how impressed I am at their improvement throughout the year. They played their best football in December and that normally means a good job by the coaches and players in a playoff season (i.e. when the games all matter).

There seems to be a lot of good vibes around this team right now and I put that on Tomlin and the coaching staff to sticking with the message and putting together some good game plans down the stretch in the last quarter of the season against some good competition. It's been nice not to see the "bad Steelers" and "bad Tomlin" show up quite as much as earlier in the year.

Teams lose more games than they win, so if we can continue to keep the mistakes low (avoid negative plays, win the turnover battle, stay away from penalty debacles), this team can beat anyone.

Hind site is always a good thing. I disagree with the timing of the fake punt. The fact that it was so poorly executed, doesn't excuse the fact that a short field was a possible result. The STEELERS needed time off clock and distance for them to cover. Just my opinion.
Now with bell knee thingy, absolutely right about the gayvens. They are a very cheap shot oriented team. Bell best be hitting the after burners for a TD every time he touches the ball. Did I happen to mention, the Rats are cheap shopt artists?

Salute the nation

Congrats steelers. I thought the Bengals were going to pull that one out.....until number 41 pulled the ball out from AJ Green. Antonio Brown is amazing......and amazingly frustrating to Bengal fans.

BEAKER!! I was wondering where you've been. Your team has done an amazing job this year with as badly as the injury bug has hit your team. Much like us going into our last playoff run vs Denver, we limped in missing key players on both sides of the ball. I hope AJ and Gresham get back quickly. Good luck vs the Colts!!

Honestly after losing to Tampa early on in the season, I didn't think we had a shot. We looked pathetic and had NO heart. I don't know what it was that turned us around....but I am happy it happened. One game at a time....let's focus on the Rats and see what happens!!!

Congratulations, guys!!! You earned this playoff berth outright and earned it the hard way!!!

Did anyone else notice that Ross Ventrone was wide open in the left flat on the clear out on the fake punt? Too bad Wing rolled right and didn't see the entire field. I want to be mad at the play. Defense was playing well, and we could have pinned them. With the way Wing was punting, the 12yd INT was pretty much like one of his punts anyway :P

One last point: In the toughest division in football, we were the only team to finish with a winning record within the division!

Way to go guys, division champions start by winning divisional games!

Not to worry. Carolina is 7-8-1. If we met them in the Super Bowl, they would be 10-8-1. LOL
