Ron Cook calls for Tomlin to leave

So I read something that Najee said yesterday evening that I thought was so telling.
Najee said “there needs to be changes in the Steeler building. Not coaches but discipline. This is different than it was at Alabama and I noticed it when I got here. Other players feel the same way, but it’s not coaches it’s discipline.”
So if it’s a discipline problem then is that not coming from Tomlin? He’s the ******* head coach of this football team. It’s his responsibility to instill discipline in that locker room.

He's basically saying we need the coaches to either toughen up or get out. He just can't say it outright.

I said this a while back. They should be benching players. Fining them. And suspending them for a game or two without pay like the old days. Unfortunately, I don't think the players union allows any of that anymore other than sitting a player.

We need to fire the Discipline coordinator🤣

Absolutely HC problem

I read that Pickens was fined over $200 grand this season.

And, if Tomlin is leaving, that **** needs to be worked out ASAP. So the Steelers aren't left looking at garbage when it comes to finding a new coach.

So we are back to "moving on" again? Just about every sports talk show host wanted to run him out of town until they backed into the playoffs last week. Then the slobbering started back up. Now its time to move on again for some, but I still listened to some slobbering this AM.

I swear to god the wishy washy Yinzers drive me nuts more than Tomlin does.

Not the guys on 93.7. They are all in on getting rid of Tomlin.

At least we know what to expect next season.
What did we do wrong? One of the biggest fans bases in the history of sports and we can't get a coach that gives us a chance to be competitive when it matters?

This team is a shadow of what they once were. Now they are a yearly mediocre substandard fixture.

We certainly do. The copyrighted "Tomlin Special" - either 9 or 10 wins and watching the scoreboard, hoping for some other team to win a game so the Steelers can back into the playoffs and get trounced in the 1st round yet again.

As long as they get to 8-8-1 it’s all good.

The VERY first year of 17 game football, the FIRST thing I thought was there is no way Cool Shades is going to have a .500 season.

I was fooled as he went 8-8-1

Still being fooled…………..

Salute the nation

It's as if it is some sort of divine intervention achieving the same scenario over and over again.

I have wanted him gone for years. Never got hyped about playoffs or playoff chance as you know that Tomlin will screw it up and this team will get nowhere. They are still my team though and I love to watch them. It was even more fun when Ben was still here, but deep down I knew and I'm sure many others did as well after 2010 that the clown show running this team would find a way to be unprepared, come in with a terrible game plan, make bad roster decisions, and/or just mismanage the game...we all saw it over and over.

It is what it is, and I'll repeat what I said in another thread: Dan(R.I.P) really screwed up when he hired this clown. I have great respect for Dan as we all should since he hired Noll and Cowher.

We all know the pre Dan history when it was The Chief that hired and fired coaches, when Dan took over everything changed for the better. Everyone makes mistakes though, and boy is this a doozy just from the political correctness /optics of getting rid of him angle.
