And he should be mad that his china body isn’t holding up. He should also be man enough to process the situation this team is in.

What you describe is more of an “entitlement” attitude to go with the “didn’t learn anything on the sidelines” attitude.

I don’t thin k there is any merit to the rumor, but Kenny has no basis to not play what role he is assigned.

Currently Mason is the starter and he deserves it based on his play.

Kenny deserves the #2, based on his play as well.

Since all are happily surprised with Rudy's last 2 games, KFP has to decide whether or not he is......in a presser last week, he said the QB room was helpful, united and in good spirits. We will find out this week!

I don’t think the rumor has merit, but with Kenny hurt and out, you don’t just put him in as starter with where the back up has gotten them to. Add in the back up has done it in GRAND fashion, somethiN Pickett hasn’t been able to do his whole time as a starter.

Tomlin is playing it safe and team oriented to the end game of playoffs.

Pickett apparently said he did not want to dress as the emergency QB. The report wasn't as dramatic as Madden made it sound, but a little surprising if he didn't want to dress even as the emergency QB.

He did. I assume it was so he could get back and play quicker. I don't think he would have needed surgery for a high ankle sprain to sit the bench and then go to the offseason.

Easier said than done. If you were told, "hey, get this surgery and these screws put in right away so we can get you back out there" and then after you did it they said "nevermind", you'd be pretty hot. If you wouldn't be, I guess you get pushed around pretty easily. I'd tell them where they could stick it.

Pickett was healthy enough to play last week and wasn't active. Now Tomlin flat out benches him this week.

Anyone have any thoughts on the rumors Pickett "refused" to be the backup last week, per Mark Madden? Before you dismiss it because of Madden, Kaboly hinted at this on the radio but wouldn't go as far as to report it and apparently Dulac did as well (though I didn't hear his radio segment).

If true, the Steelers should definitely be open to drafting a QB in Round 1.
