We have a glut of ILB's, Could be a good opportunity to trade an ILB to Dallas at some point this pre-season.

A source tells Comcast SportsNet's John Middlekauff that the Cowboys are "fearing the worst" with ILB Sean Lee's knee injury.
"The worst" specifically being a season-ending injury. Middlekauff is not a Cowboys beat writer, but is a plugged-in former scout. All the Cowboys can do now is cross their fingers and await the results of Lee's MRI. It would be a devastating blow for one of the league's most injury-prone players. Going on 28, Lee has missed 15 games over the past two seasons.

I pray the kid is ok.

But, I'd still be on the phone wif Gerra offering him Vince Williams for a 3rd round pick next year...

Hope he is OK. He is a helluva football player. But, his knees are probably shot. He had knee injuries in college too. He won't have a long NFL career.

he's 28. chances are if he's ****** up his knee again, his career may be either done or he'll be relegated to back-up duties.

Real bummer I like that cat though he was gonna be a steeler in the draft. Hope it's not as serious as it sounds

Damn they start dropping early this year. Let's pray the Steelers can avoid the injury bug this year.

What a shame a excellent linebacker that I would take over any linebacker on this team but it appears he will just always be injury prone

What a contradicting statement....

That's a big hit for Dallas. I wonder if this just happened or what?

Well lol romo is ready to fumble or check out of a goalline run and toss a pick

Screw Dallas. I wouldn't help them at all. There will be enough Scrap-Heap cuts they can bring in through camp. Then again, what would they give us for Jarvis Jones? Just kidding. . .

I will DOUBLE second that, we can use a 3rd next year!!!

I would be on the phone with Dallas, telling them they need to hide their defense by expanding their offense. More weapons would make Romo a better QB. More weapons would keep the defense off the field. More weapons would allow them to score more points. Once they agreed, I'd tell them I have the best solution to their problem.

then I'd put them on hold.

I'd fill out the form for Adrian Bradley to contact me asap.

I'd pop open a beer and then take the Cowboys off hold. I'd reiterate the points made previously and tell them that I've got a win-win idea for both of us that would benefit both teams in a capacity at the present.

I'd check my email and at the top of my inbox would be an email titled "IMPORTANT !! READ ME !!" from Bradley, Adrian. I'd not even bother reading, it but attach a vet minimum contract to the email and send it. Before I could even take another drink of my beer would be a reply from Bradley, Adrian with a signed contract.

I'd then take the Cowboys off hold and, anticipating their giddiness and hearing the chuckles and "shhhhh!"s in the background, I'd offer them a trade. Of course, they'd jump all over it, and sign the fax with a large X and a lowercase x to show they read and approve.

Then I'd call up the NFL front office and let them be aware that we now own the Cowboys' first round pick for trading one Jones, Felix to them.

BRILLIANCE.

Trade Timmons to the Cowboys for next year's 1st?

Sound crazy? If Shazier is the stud the Steelers think then they can get by with a Foote type guy next to him. Vince Williams is a good run stuffer and if Spence comes back, maybe they can sub Williams and Spence based on run/pass situations while Shazier plays every down.

It sounds crazy because you're willfully making the team worse for no reason.

No one is gonna give the Steelers a 3rd (or even a 5th) for vince Williams, come on this trade couldn't even be done in Madden.
Trading Timmons right now is like mailing in the season, he's the only reliable vet the team has on the front 7

It always sucks to hear a player is injured like this. Even a CowFems guy shouldn't lose the season before the first snap is played.

suddenly, people are standing and touting TIMMONS, just a few ago, were saying he suck!!!!! No way trade our best, or near best D player.

or trade Timmons for Sean Lee so you can masturbate to a dream turned reality?

Seems like Tapeanaspirin2it is gonna get the opposite of what he wants.

Steelcity Insider has a free article up about Timmons finally transitioning to a defensive captain and taking over the Buck.

I'm amped we have the makings of the best inside linebacker tandem we've had in ages! Timmons has grown into an indispensable leader on this D, and now has a partner-in-QB-crime Shazier at his side. Batman and Robin, I say. With so much depth - gasp - at ILB, wouldn't mind at all moving one of the back-ups to the Cowboys for a pick.

HAHA partner in "QB" crime? A guy who has never had double digit sacks, averages around 3 sacks a year and only had 3 all last year. Yea, Qb crime alright...
