Senior Bowl Thread

I'm just not interested in them taking a let's hope QB at all. I'll wait patient for someone who looks more sure thing. If they take say Ridder if he sucks it will take three years to decide that. Then two or three for the first rounder to develop. That could be 6 years. No thanks. Build the team around the future QB. PS. Funny Madden had an article yesterday basically saying the Minkah trade was a bad idea which is essentially what I said 3 years ago. An it isn't like Minkah isn't very good. He is. But if they were what they should have been that year (a bottom 7 team) maybe they have their QB now.

I disagree. Maybe he says what a lot of people do not want to hear. Doesn't mean it isn't right.
so he agrees with you so he is "right" I would still say he is full of **** and his opinion isn't worth ****

Don't know if you noticed but there has been a **** of a lot to be critical of for what the last 5 or more years?
I’ll agree with that. But 5 years means contentment.
If nothing hasn’t changed in 5 years, why expect a different result next season?

Hopefully there are changes. But I don’t see it until Tomlin is gone

I agree 100%. We went to Pittsburgh as a family in September 2014 to watch what should have been an easy win vs. Tampa. They blew it late. After the game walking around downtown there was a hell of a lot of discontentment about the team and its direction. That's damn near 8 years ago. And since that time they have an embarrassing loss in the divisional round against a team that didn't have a starting worthy qb and got all too expectedly donkey punched in and AFC championship against the Pats. This is what they are. I don't listen to Madden. I'm sure he is an ***. But it sure as hell doesn't mean he isn't right at least on some things.

I do this too. I mean I certainly wanted them to sneak into the playoffs like I'm sure just about everyone else did. But looking at recent mocks that could very well cost them Jordan Davis who could be a total game changer. You plug him in there and drop some cake on FA DBs you could have the best defense in the league.

Or another receiver

I hear yaz, Nothing would surprise me but I have to try and have confidence that they feel like they are picking the best and hope that plays out.

slash / Supe / Coolie / Ford / deljic / and many more have great input on players and draft place statis. Between them I think they could make some pretty good drafts but then again we don't know what happens behind closed doors. The big board moves a lot but that's why the coaching staff gets paid big bucks.

I am going to start ramping up my draft watch, should I start with YouTube or Walterfootball 😇

I hear yaz on the QB part but NOT on the Fitz trade. Madden isn't keen on the Steelers in general.

Well with the possibility of Juju leaving. I wouldn’t put it past them.

Whichever floats your boat. Just don’t motorboat unless it’s an attractive female.

I'd say keep with what ever you have been doing as it seems to be working. I'm no expert by any means so it is good to hear what you guys have to say. Tape has some good stuff too as others as well.

Thank you to all

This defense is a NT away from being dominant. The Steelers linebacker corp is a speedy one. Imagine the blitz formations they could pull off with Davis demanding double teams. Not to mention you also have Heyward on the Dline. If Witherspoon can improve and Minkah comes back. That front 7 pressure should make that secondary a turnover factory

No it's probably more likely because he is a contrarian attention *****. I don't think he even has any actual opinions. Instead he tries to think of things that will generate the most drama with the hometown yinzers and says whatever that is. He's Pittsburgh's version of Skip Bayless, nothing more. He adds absolutely nothing to the local sports scene.

They have a ILber that gets pushed out of the way by a strong wind. They are down two CBs and a SS. Tuitt more than likely is dust in the wind. They have some things to like on D. But help is needed. Not sure they are close to dominant.

I agree and NO one has been more critical of D. Bush. But if he has any chance next year they can't have linemanat the next level immediately after the snap either.
