Awesome ending. Montreal was playing hard and Lightning seemed flat. Was sure Habs would pull it out.
 
Rags about to go down. You could see that goal coming. The Rags spend TONS of time in the Washington zone with plenty of chances but burying none of them. One mistake leads to a 2-0 breakaway the other way, 1-0. Watching the Rags is alot like watching the Pens. Always looking for the pass that opens the net wide instead of just shooting the god damn puck.

EDIT: Heh, and then after I post, the Rags pull the game out of their *****.

I would like to see Tampa win and St. Louis out this round. Only problem with Ducks in finals, is I will never see a game that late!

Hate to root for Caps, but Holtby playing well and Ovie not carrying being a chucker, actually being outplayed by most his team.

Hawks will be though also
 
Kind of interesting watching all of the former Penguin coaches and players playing /coaching well and advancing in the playoffs while the current bunch of bums are no where to be found. Sad.
 
Speaking of coaches, I would love the Penguins to pursue Mike Babcock. I know that is unfair to Johnston, but I'd much rather have the guy who is regarded as the best in the league behind our bench.
 
Babcock not in the Penguins future. Spike's man crush on Depres sees no evidence of subsiding.

Caps are folding like a cheap suit. The Great 8 has been held scoreless in the past 4 games. I think they are a tad nervous going to NYC for Game 7. I don't even like the Rangers in the least, but Ovie is a cheap-shot artist that I hope never sniffs the SCF.

I feel the same way. My son in law is a Rangers fan, and it just kills me to hope that the Rangers win this series. That said, it is WAAAAAAY better than seeing the Craps get a step closer to the Stanley Cup.

The Ducks or Hawks would smack around both teams in the SCF, but keeping Ovechicken away from it is good enough for me.

I don't know. When the Rangers are on, they play as well as anyone. They have looked uncharacteristically bad this post season. Only player of note missing is Zuccarelo, and I am pretty sure he isn't the reason they aren't scoring all the sudden. As bad as they have been, they still managed to get even with the Caps, and will likely eliminate them tomorrow night.

The Rangers are hot and cold. They've been hot lately to even the series, but still not overwhelmed with any of the East teams. The West has an extra boost, it seems. They are bigger, stronger and more skilled. Maybe it will all wash out in the Finals and be a great series, but we'll see.

Most of us are overjoyed. Anybody but the Habs.

Now we shift to anybody but Ovechkin. Not sure about the Rangers either, but Toews, Stamkos and Perry are the heart of Canadian pro hockey.

Yep. Canadian lads have done a great job leading Yankee teams to the cup. You could look it up.
