Steelers -Colts game thread

I'd like to know that too. Easy to say it's on Fields, but the ball was snapped when he wasn't even looking.
Usually the LG taps the center when Fields is ready....Frazier just snapped it. Our LG was peeking into the backfield when the ball was snapped. I am thinking it is on Frazier.

We had the momentum until that fumble. It was a good effect by our offense. We just made to many mistakes on both sides of the ball. Moving forward I think they will allow Fields to do more. He showed he can handle.....more.
Yeah, I bring Wilson in as soon as he's ready. Again: against better offenses when the D can't hold we need points early, the hero ball stuff and Lamar Jackson 2.0 stuff does not beat experience and proven ability.

Meh... I put this one on the D. TJ was a non factor. Minkah hasn't done any Minkah stuff in forever. Let 50 y.o. Flacco make completions to keep drives going, guys open in the middle like ALWAYS....

Well that game sucked ***. Regular season is now in progress...sos

We'll never know. Fields will say what he has always said "I need to be ready for the snap."

Backup QB and we didn't stop one slant pass play that I recall. Defense was not elite today from the start. Still a couple of plays and a couple of calls we still win on the road.

As much as I want to blame that the defense crapped the bed today.
Yes they did. Flat play too often. But too many total issues in this one so I want to say a complete team loss.

Nah.....Wilson rides the bench unless Fields gets hurt. Your comparison to Jackson is just way way off base by a mile.

you ignore the 22/34, 1 TD passing, 0 INTs and 104 rating and focus on the 2 rushing TDs (that you ain't getting with Russ) to force a narrative. It doesn't fit.

I didnt want to jinx him earlier. But fields has made me a believer. I believe he can be a great qb. Earlier in the season ,, i thought he pulled it down too fast and wasnt going thru progressions...Over the course of these 4 games. I have changed my opininon. Today he nearly made it happen, despite poor defense, despite poor rushing.. Despite a stacked box.
My commment about him earlier was only about you defending him a lot. Im glad for ya. A buckeye fan etc.

I think Russell wilson could bring something to the table, but in this game today i think he would have gotten sacked... A LOT.

What an idiot Harris is. Seriously
That was about as dumb as the rookie center snapping while Fields looking around.

I excuse a rookie for making rookie mistakes
But damn, Naj looked less explosive than Shemp the PS call up and then helps end the game with that absolute bone head move

Granted he really needed 1 more yard, who cares about stopping a clock there?

What a dolt.

Fields had some bad plays, sure…but there were many contributing to that loss.

Good news is 3-1, first place in the division and 3 road games outta the way.

But that was a very winnable game

Did I mention **** those garbage refs?

Again. On the road. The LG is looking into the back field for when the qb gives him the ready sign. LG will tap the Center to snap. Ball was snapped while the LG was still looking back. Fields was looking away. I am all but sure it was on Frazier. Either way. Hopefully theu will learn from it moving forward.

With Russ we are more than likely not in the position we were in today to begin with. Fields misses open receivers, slow processing, too much indecision in the pocket. Even when he runs at times he's indecisive. Not saying he can't be the guy, just saying he needs to sit and learn for at least a year.

And the snap thing has to be 100% Fields... it was a problem in chicago, a problem with herbig, and now a problem with frazier.. he has to make sure the C knows he is changing the play in a loud environment...

Just wondering.....inside of 5 minutes shouldn't the clock stop regardless of when contact occurs when the offensive player going out of bounds? Referring to the Harris play.

Wilson will get his shot, but you dont switch after that game... Fields needs to play vs the Cowboys still

yeah i agree. Im not calling for Russell wilson. Im calling for some F^$king rollouts . Some bootlegs. Some Jaylen Warren and some more patterson. Also Some more Washington. Nobody is going to be able to cover that guy.. We throw 2 passes to him. wtf.

Can't believe the center problems can't be ironed out, but 300 yards, two rushing TDs and a passing TD? We would have killed for that last year.

A lot of negative on Fields, really. he is out there on an island, today a practice squad running back, receivers that cannot get open, the line really showed how much they need to improve. He made plays when he had time. The last snap looked as if that was on our center, I don't know. The defense gave up all those points, the fumble on Fields no points. That continued rushing four, today, beat our butts.
