Steelers calling TO. Hoping to save enough time for one more 3 and out before the end of the game

Pickens has almost been invisible this game. He has a bad attitude. I do not blame him for being frustrated and most blame falls on coaching, but most OCs in the league would love to have claypool, DJ, and Pickens

Sure. Be nice if he stopped overthrowing the middle of the field.

Maybe this is why they don't throw to the middle very much. He tosses up way too many easy picks.

Not at all. I just think the difference is Him being a true rookie and a first pick. Mason is a better passer right now than either but he isn’t as mobile. He would have been killed today.
 
38-3 against the best team in the AFC.
35-13 against the best team in the NFC.

The Steelers are light years away from being good.

had not thought of it like that as far as the OLine goes. Man, we used to have some studs. Now we are happy if we can get a 4 yard run.

I remember Mason playing and no, he didnt do great, but he never got to play unless Ben was hurt. I guess I just never felt Mason got a fair shot. Bringing in Trubisky was a waste of money. Mason could have started the season and turned it over to Kenny when Shades was ready to make the change. Not sure what Shades saw in Trubisky that made him better than Mason. Honestly, I think Mason is better now than Trubisky but he cannot get on the field. Didnt say he was better than Pickett when you consider all the valuable experience Kenny is getting this season. They should have just started the season with Mason and transitioned whenever it was time to transition to KP

I choose to focus on the positives. Team is learning. They're young and they'll improve over time. And secondly, they didn't cut away from the game this week to go to a more competitive contest! That's obviously progress.

It wasnt overthrown the LB tipped it. If anything it was too low or just a good play by the LB

A better QB leads instead of back shoulders him. He’s the only one (minus the one good Claypool catch) that looks like he’s alive out there

And I'll counter by saying that if you're going to have a losing season, let the kid get experience. Then use that top 10 draft position to improve the big uglies.

I think it wouldn't matter so we might as well let Pickett get experience.
The QB position isn't our worst problem.

Nope. Guys are open down field. Pickett is missing them. Rudolph at least throws to the correct receiver
