Based on what, exactly? What has shown Rudolph would “push the ball down the field”? His last game started, he had a 4.8 ypa. Overall, I think his career total is what 6? Is it His one career three hundred yard game? Not to mention, this is still a **** scheme.
 
First it was mitch's fault and kenny was the savior. now pickett is a bust a rudolph will lead us to the promised land.............i want to know what some drink / smoke

It’s absolutely pouring out here in Vancouver. Put my slow cooking pork shoulder in at 9 this morning. Pulled pork with slaw and herb roasted potatoes for dinner tonight.

I'm not sold one way or another but that's a lot to hang on a rookie QB. How many teams would trade for any Steelers today?

And Kenny does throw some high passes. Its like they get away from him. But I guess he did it in college and almost won the Heisman. Sure he will but he will also be ready for the speed of the NFL he will have made his mistakes. Not sure what you don’t understand? But I am not surprised based on other forums.

I think Tomlin would get a job, but i can pretty much guarantee if canada was fired he wouldnt make it back to the nfl.

Kenny was a 6th round pick with worse stats than Sean Clifford until he had WR Jordan Addison.
 
Way more problems than Kenny and his glove and throws with this team. Kenny did not have a good game no one did but Warren who continue to give it his all.
 
Tomlin not throwing the flag when Pickens would have had the first is a perfect example of what’s wrong with him. He is arrogant and thinks he doesn’t need anyone else’s input and he sticks by his bad choices even when he knows they’re wrong.

Trubisky 78/128 60.9% 797 yards 3 TDs 2 INT 9 sacks
Pickett 112/165 67.9% 962 yards 2 TDs 8 INTs 12 sacks

yep gildong, you are right. I do remember it now. He did do a lot of checking down and a lot of those short passes that gained nothing. But I swear I remember the OLine being able to pass block but they were not the greatest at run blocking. They were built to keep Ben upright.

OH well, here we are. I do think Pickett can be special. He is just in a totally F'd up situation right now and he is learning. He will get better. Just hope the OLine will get better and Shades will let Warren play more.

Many QBs have played in the Sphincter/Canada offense. There was some Super Bowl winning guy. There was a Duck. There was a red-nosed Rudolph. One Trubs in there. There was a Pickett. Seems like they all, irrespective of their success or circumstances, ended up with very similar results.

And the 300 yard game came against a disinterested Browns team who was already in the playoffs with Rudolph knowing that game was probably his last gasp. His only strength is throwing deep, which we cant do because of our O-line. And some want to sit Mason " statue with no pocket presence" Rudolph behind this mess of an O-line while he stares his first read down for the whole play before he's sacked. SMH.
