Steelers offense

Jalen Warren is the best RB we have. The offense is atrocious overall.
Warren is benefitting because no one on defense can see his midget *** when they're all piling into the OL with reckless abandon.

Zero effort to try to get muth involved for some easy passes u had Darnell to help block should have had some set’s where jones came lined up as a te instead of Conner.
Both daniels and coke were pushed like rag dolls.
I was hoping after the combine the way the Center rankings were and oluwatami was falling that we trade for him he was rimingron winner and just a powerful run blocker for the wolverines.
He should and is doing well for walker in Seattle.
After a few times Matt don’t know how drunk he was should have seen the lnterior getting shoved back stop calling hb dive or blast. The Kenny roll out was beyond retarded should given to Harris and had Washington or muth line up as rb/fb and push Harris

Seems like alot of times it was snap and throw regardless of the D. I don't know if that is Pickett or Canada. Aikman pointed out the one time Pickens was one on one and kenny got the ball and threw instantly without even looking over there. They need to trust the qb to make reads and not have predetermined targets.

I just want a staff that innovates and adapts rather than beats a square peg in a round hole… and I hate the concept that pro level coaches should not teach… they all should be developing guys every day

Like him or not, Hairball does just that for the ravens. I read an interview once (no link or back up material to prove) but the player was talking about how even when just walking down the hall, a coach or even an assistant coach would ask a play or a situation for the player to answer. Even during practice, they would be shown technique positives.

Someone just told me that Canada has been our OC for 36 games now. We have over 20 pts just 10 times. Think about that in todays NFL.

Try this one, last night 43 plays to gain approximately 23 yards.

Just dumb in that situation, but if he cuts behind Washington's block it's most likely a first down. Instead he went outside directly into his tackler.

Freeze frame it a couple of times and you can see he didn't have a chance to follow anyone. He was cut off by the crossing back and the "D" was headed straigt into him either way. Just a poorly designed play that actually put the "D" in better position to defend against the play.

O'Canada does that quite often, brings defenders to the play instead of designing to help pull them away.

Ill go into a deep dive later, but here is the issue right now

Teams are flooding the short zone against us and still getting ridiculous pressure on pickett…

Last year Pickett was good against the blitz. We weren’t great on passblocking but we gave him a pedestrian 2.2 seconds to pass. This year we are averaging 1.5 seconds, which is absurd.., but worse teams blitzed us and average of 25% last year… which is pretty much normal… but this season we are only being blitzed 9.2% of the time… yet we have given up 26 pressures on 31% of pass plays… thats third worse in the league… we are top five worse at qb hurries… and all of that despite a huge amount of quick short passes meant to stave off pressure… the other teams bad in allowing pressure all still give their qb almost an extra second more than we do , and it’s mostly on deep shots…

And Pickett isn’t scrambling at all.. he has 1 scramble in 2 games, which is not his style…
We aren’t being innovative either… we’ve run 2 RPOs and 1 play action pass in 2 games… that’s bottom five in rpos and the worst in the league in play action…

This is Kenny's throw to open the second half. Kenny has received plenty of justified criticism for his off the mark throws and decision making...BUT, WHAT THE **** is Harris doing on this play? Why the **** would you run behind the defender there instead of working back to the QB. Football 101 is REALLY missing from this team.

The bad scheme is alot of it but you cannot ignore how terrible Kenny's accuracy and decision making has been. That sideline attempt to Harris in double coverage the defender literally dropped a gimmie pick.
Regardless of bad scheme the coaches don't control decision making or accuracy.
kenny is Awful.
Kenny needs to improve absolutely to many boneheaded plays but a young Qb in this offense is destined to fail. Hell a HOF qb failed. On Kenny’s pick all 4 wrs ran the exact route at the same depth. It literally created double team on all the wrs on a 5 yard route. The rollout which should have been a pick we again had 2 receivers within 4 yards of each other. The offensive scheme is trash and any team that game plans knows exactly what we are going to do. How many times as an average fan can you call out what play Canada is going to call? You think a nfl coaching staff can’t figure it out? We have rolled out this same trash week in and week out for years with no success.

This is the QB Option on 3rd and 1. Either this is the WORST designed blocking scheme for that play or Kenny TOTALLY misread the DE/OLB. Every block was set for the play to go the other way.

It was a very failed attempt at a misdirection … we don’t sell our fakes so nobody pays attention to them… again teams just don’t respect our line enough to commit to anything… we are easy to diagnose presnap. We have been pretty easy to read since Whiz left… at least Arians could design deep routes that got guys open if the qb could buy 3 seconds in the pocket … right now we got squat…

He should have cut behind Washington in my opinion. It would have been a better option for a positive gain. Then again I would have sent Najee that way and let Pickett follow.

It's just a dumb play considering every damn defense the Steelers play are all right up on the line. It has to be the easiest offense to prepare for because they've been doing the same **** for years and change nothing.

The division opponents will have the biggest advantage because they play them twice a year.

That's exactly what it has looked like to me. Thanks for throwing in the statistics that back it up. There seems to be a lot of confusion with the interior of the OL to me. A lot of pressure up the middle and guys that aren't even throwing blocks on anyone. Don't know how many times Najee has been hit in the backfield by a LB that goes untouched while a lineman watches him just go by. These guys just seem unprepared.

Misdirection...hell, we can't even get positive yards going in the right direction, let alone in the misdirection. :ROFLMAO:

Football talkers say that of all of the OCs that entered the league at the same time as Canada, they all have at least 4 games of 400 yards. Canada has zero.
