Last preseason game and in practice. Brief sample side but all reposts from Dale Lolley were that he ran things much more professionally.

He played like 2 drives in the preseason. Pickett had a basically perfect pre-season last year. Russ has also barely practiced and it has been as #2. I would not put any stock into those reports

How so? If the QB is unsure and uncomfortable it can trickle down to the rest. Russ by insider accounts takes firm command. Fields is still uncomfortable. Not sure how you can miss it. The bad snaps the penalties the delay of game. Not hitting the easy throws. Holding the ball to long in the pocket. His talent overcomes a lot of that but it makes us inconsistent. Therefore we play conservatively.
