Steelers will NOT be on the field for National Anthem.

Once again, I won't lose any sleep over lack of endorsement from someone who can't form his own opinion, but has to post quotes from the media or celebrities and jump on their bandwagon.

Tibs, you ******* idiot, look at the video. AV is clearly waaaaay outside of the tunnel, all by himself. And in some photos you can even see a Blood with his hand over his heart. Even he has more integrity than Tomlin.

Buster, you sure do a lot of navel gazing. Step out of your bubble from time to time. Try to look at things with an open mind.

Even he has more integrity than Tomlin.
Well then why don't you believe his own words on what he said actually happened. And you sure like to throw around the phrase '******* idiot' in your posts, when referring to others. That must be how they taught you manners growing up.

Here is the problem with all the things that moron posted. None of those things are actually the flag. If I take a flag and wear it as a cape, ok maybe. But reprinting likenesses on paper plates or t shirts or whatever is not actually using a flag for any of those things. You know better. Come on.

Well then why don't you believe his own words on what he said actually happened. And you sure like to throw around the phrase '******* idiot' in your posts, when referring to others. That must be how they taught you manners growing up.

I’m pretty sure I only call you a ******* idiot. Because you are. I think AV was Forced to walk it back because the team is taking so much **** for their cowardly actions. Once again, The Chief jolted.

Good ole cut and paste Tibs.
Nice adding absolutely nothing, zero, zilch to the conversation. Just the usual non-post from you Buster. You're murdering bandwidth with your non-thoughts and negative space. It's like you're made out of thin air.

Wow, you people are something else. I'd be ashamed to call a decorated Army veteran a liar. But that's exactly what you are doing, knowingly or not.

A means to an end. Much like Trump mocking McCain for being considered a war hero because he was a POW. Trumptards don't fall far from the tree.

You're clearly not taking the flag code seriously. Read how it is phrased and written. Just saying, dude. You can interpret the law however you wish, but it's still the law. Take this:

"It should not be embroidered on such articles as cushions or handkerchiefs and the like....or otherwise impressed on paper napkins or anything that is designed for temporary use and discard."

That's not talking about the flag itself, as you suggest, is it?

And don't tell me about the flag. There is a national standard as to what represents a flag or the colors.

If it isn't cloth, have 50 stars arranged in 4 rows of 5 and 5 rows of 6 with 13 stripes, the first and last of which are red, it isn't a ******* flag. It is a representation. Big difference.

I’m pretty sure I only call you a ******* idiot. Because you are.
I take that as a badge of honor coming from you. That sets me straight and lets me know I'm on the right path. So thanks for that.

Christ no. If you take a flag, or part of it, and put that cloth, the actual flag Tibs, and put it on a hanky or cushion or whatever, sure. But some representation with 11 stars an 6 visible stripes is not the damn flag.

No one said they didn't have a right!!!! Hello McFly.

Exactly. They have the right to protest. I have the right to not watch. Tomlin has the right to bench. Rooney has the right to cut. I can only control one so I did.

And don't tell me about the flag.
I'm not trying to tell you anything. You dismissed my post about all the flag code violations and I just pointed out what's in the flag code, verbatim. Not saying I like it, or agree or disagree with it. I too think the flag itself means something more than simply using the image of the flag. But the US Flag Code doesn't make that distinction.

Well let me bestow some more honor on your twisted commie ***: you stupid ******* idiot. You stupid ******* anti-American idiot.

Alright let's end this debate cause it's getting silly, but how do you 'put that cloth, the actual flag' onto a paper napkin, as stated in the Flag Code? It seems to ban using any type of images of the flag, at least for commercial purposes. Never really looked into it or have given much thought to it, to be honest.

Ok, let me say this slowly. If I print a representation, that has like 6 stars and 4 stripes on a paper plate, you realize that is not the flag, as ours has 50 stars and 13 stripes. Having some stars and red and white stripes on a beer can is not the flag. I give the guy credit for trying, but you are both wrong. Period.

Fair enough, but silly was making that post in the first place.

How should I react to such open hostility? What should one do in a situation like this, faced with sniveling, grovelling internet menace? Go run to the mods? Maybe Tim Steelersfan can come save the day and put you in your place for being such a ruffian. Mercy me!

At the end of the day if you are triggered when African American players - who make up around 70% of the NFL - raise awareness of issues that are important to them, you should probably find another sport to follow.

Or we should implement the Trump rule that states the NFL has to proportionally and equally have each race and sex as it is according to the us census bureau.

Sounds stupid right? Now imagine being a "privileged" white male and listening to the Rooney rule.
