With the 2022 NFL Draft upon us, Action Network has spoken out about the ongoing connection between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Liberty quarterback, Malik Willis.
Willis is absolutely one of the most polarizing, if not THE most polarizing quarterbacks to enter this year’s draft, having risen to the top of most draft boards based on his amazing athleticism alone.
Last season, Willis had a breakout senior year, throwing for 2,857 passing yards, 27 touchdowns to just 12 interceptions, and he also tallied 878 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground. He is expected to be the first QB off the boards at -155, while Kenny Pickett is the next closest at +130!

Action Network puts Willis at +175 to join Pittsburgh on Thursday night in Las Vegas, NV and it’s obvious that Willis’ landing spot could be anywhere! With mock drafts having him as high as No. 6 and as low as the second round, Pittsburgh would be gambling if they don’t select him early and try to wait on him in later rounds. FanDuel listed odds for picks 1-10 and Willis’ most likely destination was No. 6 overall at +430 odds to the Carolina Panthers.

The anticipation is killing us! With so many mock drafts having Willis fall to so many different teams, are yinz hoping he falls to Pittsburgh at pick No. 20? Will he be around for pick No. 52!? Or do yinz have another quarterback in mind (if any) you’d rather draft? Click to comment below!
